Including how you can win WWE prizes by playing poker...
- The wrestling stars are busy on their Twitters...here's a selection of what they have to say:
Steve Austin: "Got a lot of reports of CM Punk using my ring music and calling me out...I enjoy his work and wish him the best. Go get em kid."
John Cena on being an NXT Pro: "yes I asked, and was denied. Apparently u need more than 2 moves to offically be called a "pro" (enjoy that one)"
Chris Jericho: "Was only able to recover 20% of the final book edit. I am now officially 80% insane..."
- Dixie Carter tweeted that she will be attending TNA's September 23rd house show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
- A couple of days ago when Dixie Carter tweeted about a new TNA signing she was keeping secret, D'Angelo "The Pope" Dinero tweeted "Just heard the news. Now THAT....That's Cool!~ PHS". Some time later, he tweeted "Whoa! Just got the "News" of Pope's earlier news. That was purely coincidental. For The Record, Pope has NO CLUE as to who was signed. ~ PHS". Pope doesn't know who the new signing is.
- You can listen to a sample of MVP's new theme song here.
- WWE has opened a poker site at wwepoker.com. People can win money & WWE prizes by entering for free.
John Cena on being an NXT Pro: "yes I asked, and was denied. Apparently u need more than 2 moves to offically be called a "pro" (enjoy that one)"
Hahahaha oh John.

THIS is why TNA fails. No boss that would stop their wrestlers to just spout shit like that off..

cena speaks the truth, 95% of the world doesnt give a fuck about 'moves'
Posted By: Guest#7167 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 10:10 PM
Dixie should fire/fine Pope for tweeting that. I'm serious.
I don't seem to recall Cena tweeting to tune into Summerslam to see a 'dragon return' or something like that.
Just stupidity all around.

Self-deprecating Cena is hilarious to think about.

Was Punk bangin Serena?? He seemed a lil more pissed off than usual on Monday
Posted By: Guest#1335 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 10:56 PM
I hope this new MVP theme marks his turn back to a heel. I don't know what it is, but MVP is just boring as hell to me when he plays a face. Same goes for John Morrison too.
Posted By: Heel Fan (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 10:57 PM
Damn it Cena!!!! Don't make me like you!!!! And stop granting so many damn wishes!!! I get it I am the dick for still hating you, stop rubbing it in.
You do still suck in the ring though.
Posted By: Guest#9550 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 10:57 PM
Oh you think so Bill? Such a great observation. Where did you get your PHD, genius?
Posted By: CAPT SARCASM! (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 11:00 PM
What? Did Jericho accidentally delete his book or something? If so, this is why you back up important stuff like that, Chris!!
Posted By: Guest#2335 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 11:08 PM
This is a move that will change the face of wrestling forever.
Posted By: Guest#9610 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 11:20 PM
So 2 moves = pro, then five moves = legendary???? Nah Cena you silly bastard nice try.
Posted By: Guest#1292 (Guest) on September 01, 2010 at 11:20 PM
If Punk wasnt banging Serena , I will.
Id love to bury my head in between those brests.

I can't wait for the "Fuck you, Dixie!" chants to start. I'm crushed I can't be there live to hear it in person...

The WWE spoiled the surprise early on their website themselves so Cena could prepare himself for his match against the Nexus
Posted By: Guest#9273 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:08 AM
The Pope is overrated. Way overrated. And yes, I know it's a gimmick and yes I know it has been done before - but could you please stop referring to your self in third person? It's both annoying and redicolous.
Posted By: HonkyDong Man (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:20 AM
All TNA employees, including Dixie herself, should be banned from publishing anything online. No more "surprises" or stupid comments or dropping the ball like Pope clearly did. Just plain stupid.
Posted By: Corndoggie (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:24 AM
Man, I hope they didn't sign Carlito.
And total agreement with the guy who said MVP and Morrison need to be heels. They're boring as dirt as faces.
Posted By: Guest#0791 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:38 AM
Cause the word cool never existed before Carlito, right?
He probably got a few smark tweet replies before he realised what he said.
Posted By: Guest#6477 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:40 AM
lmao @ John Cena
Posted By: Guest#7689 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 02:18 AM
If it is Carltio that's another huge letdown. but I don't think anyone was getting their hopes up anyways.
Posted By: Guest#6199 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 02:20 AM
Cena is awesome. I like the fact that he doesn't seem to take things too seriously. He understands that the fans in the arena paid to see him so if they want to boo and chant "you can't wrestle" at him then that's their right.
Posted By: Big Daddy V (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 02:23 AM
I guess if he's got new intro music, they are not planning on getting rid of that bum anytime soon.

no, but they did ruin the surprise by putting it on their website some hours before the event took place. ofcourse, i dont expect a wwe-tard and vince's ass muncher to remember that.

Playing poker on a free site isn't really poker. It's about as close to real poker as checkers is to chess.

Yes, but those guys sure know how to bleed! Even Ric Flair has nothing on them!
Posted By: mogamer (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 07:46 AM
Chris Jericho seems like he just had fun when he wrote his book. Mick Foley is too worried about protecting the glorified image of himself that he's built up.
Posted By: Propagandhi (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 07:49 AM
2 moves? At least Cena can hit those correctly, as opposed to Kelly Kelly who's a pro this season.
They could, however, have used a higher level male than Primo.
Posted By: Guest#3240 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 07:51 AM
I'll give Cena credit, at least he can make fun of himself.
Posted By: RJ (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 07:58 AM
Carlito can finally blow off his feud with Fair...
Posted By: guest (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 08:46 AM
And THAT is why I became a reluctant John Cena fan! How do you hate a guy that doesn't take himself seriously? That's not to say he doesn't take the business seriously. Unlike many others, he is sticking with the one that took him to the dance, and say what you want, he gets the loudest pops in the business today. He sells and remains over. But he embraces his haters and that is admirable!

You need at LEAST five moves to be a Hall of Famer. Just ask Bret Hart.
Posted By: ThatNickGuy78 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 11:50 AM
Relatively sure that wwepoker.com has no relation to the WWE. Some of the prizes offered are UFC fan packages.. and a whois search for the domain name shows it was registered under proxy, which isn't something the WWE generally does.
Sketchy, very sketchy..

"no, but they did ruin the surprise by putting it on their website some hours before the event took place. ofcourse, i dont expect a wwe-tard and vince's ass muncher to remember that."
That would be great if it wasn't for the fact that it happened DURING SummerSlam, not "some hours before the event", and was quickly removed.

Benn following Jericho's twitter and man that's gotta suck about losing his book on his computer. As a fellow writer I'd be super-pissed. That's the craziness of technology for ya.
Posted By: Guest#1221 (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 01:39 PM
John Cena has more than two moves. He has 2.5 moves. OOOOOOOOWWW. Jay/slash/kay/ He has a lot of moves. Just watch his matches against Shawn Michaels, Batista or Bobby Lashley. Besides, in three minute matches on Raw no one can do very many moves anyway. It's not about moves, it's about getting the fans to care about you, to connect with them and make them care. A rookie can come in and do lots of moves but no one would care. It's about telling a story and doing moves in a match that makes sense and fit the match and tell a story. A lot of guys have a lot of moves, but they are bland in the ring. Just ask Dean Malenko about that.
Posted By: Chico (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 02:24 PM
if the sorces are true and carlito is in tna that sucks. carlito is never been good and he is not only shitty but out of shape. there are no fans who want to see carlito. if its cuz hes spanish thats stupid too cuz they allready have hernendez and hes a fan darling for the spanish fans i am told.
hey 1221 what do you writen maybe your phone number on a boys bathroom but that dosnt make you a writer.

WHOAH....WAIT...HOLD THE PHONE! I realize John Cena is no Curt Hennig in the wrestling department but even HE knows more than VICKIE GUERRERO.

See, that's where you're wrong. Stop thinking like Vince for a minute and try remembering the big picture. There is always a built-in storyline to every match, no matter who is in it. It's called "competition". I'm better than you and I'm going to prove it. I know we've all forgotten, but there's also a "sport" going on here in the ring. Not just "entertainment". Try going about business like they used to do it - find the guys that are really good at wrestling, then develop their personalities over time. Every kind of wrestling fan can easily get into a good match. If they don't know this guy, they will want to. Malenko, in particular, was one of the greatest wrestlers I have ever seen. His moves were so clean, quick and precise it was an absolute joy to watch a real "wrestler's wrestler" put on a clinic. And every match was a phenomenal story, the bottom line always being "who's gonna win?" Watching Malenko vs. Mysterio in mid-90's WCW permanently changed they way I watch wrestling. I nearly shit myself when he came out for Steamboat, because he never even gets mentioned. He wasn't a women and children money-maker, which Vince thoughtfully made fun of during his run in the Fed. He had no personality, or at least not an exciting one. But the personality was in his skills, and it was awesome to see. I sincerely hope I can have similar praise for guys like McIntyre, Sheamus, Miz, Swagger, Morrison, or anybody from Nexus, but I doubt it. How do YOU measure greatness?
Posted By: Jay (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 04:58 PM
wwe-tards tna-holes its all crap.if you want quality wrestling try roh.
Posted By: kenneth_marx (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 05:43 PM
Cena needs to come out on Raw and list all his 1001 moves, most of them being armbar, then get interrupted by Jericho, who complains that this is his schtick. They brawl, hilarious start to a feud. Why does it all have to be serious in the mian events?
Posted By: Cammeh (Guest) on September 02, 2010 at 06:31 PM
here's an idea. let's turn Morrison, MVP, and R-Truth all heels and pair them as a stable. as far as cena bashing, it's all good. his gimmick and moves are soooooooooooooooooo lame. get a clue Cena. no one cares any more. thus the reason i switched to TNA. they do not overkill the same matches week after week. get some new, decent talent in wwe, and let them get a major push at Cena or Sheamus, or maybe some other title holder, let the new talent win, till Cena and the other weekly tv used shmucks can get over themselves, and allow someone else to get some of the spotlight. oh yeah. i forgot about the Nexus. they're dropping like flies. they gonna blow all of them out every week till Wade Barrett has to do something by himself?? some stable......they can't even keep them on tv when they're "injured". pointless to make a stable when you can't and won't keep the group all together.
i just wonder where Kaval(senshi or Low-Ki) will wind up. raw or Smackdown.
as far as Carlito going to TNA, i see it as a plus, since RVD is out for a few months, due to his 3 month contract deals. if they really wanted to keep RVD, they would've signed him for a year
