Some early-evening news...
- Linda McMahon's Senate campaign continues to attract attention from the media. A positive article talks about how she's gaining groung on opponent Richard Blumenthal.
- Fanhouse covers Chris Jericho's decision on whether to stay with WWE or not.
- Adam Pearce says he will try to work through his torn rotator cuff. The injury took place during a match with Bryan Danielson on August 7, but Pearce says his shoulder problems go back to a match he had with Mr. Anderson in 2000. (That's not a typo)
- Alex Marvez wrote an article on an upcoming DVD set entitled The Sheik -- Wrestling's Greatest Villain.
- Trish Stratus will be signing autographs at the following locations in early October:
*October 1: West Nyack, NY (Palisades Center from 6-8 PM)
*October 2: Waterford, CT (Crystal Mall's K & M All Star Sports from 12-2 PM)
*October 3: Middletown, NY (Middletown Market from 11 AM-1 PM)
Mr. Anderson injuring himself or causing an injury to someone else? Get right out of town!

Jericho "leaves" to do his Fozzy tour and take a month or two off for other projects, but he's back before the end of the year. They'll come up with some reason (Mr. McMahon, Vicky Guererro, someone in "authority")

Cool to see Trish leave Canada for once. I think she's becoming a bigger deal since leaving wrestling. Think of it this way: was she ever as big as Sable or Chyna at their peaks? No. I'm not even sure she got to Lita's peak either.
But now her yoga business is thriving, she's a celebrity in Canada already, and she might do well as an actress. Give her time, she literally just started this year.
Hopefully that didn't sound too much like ass kissing. But got to give her props. And this is coming from somebody that thinks her WWE career is overrated. Outside of winning some titles, what did she really do?
Trish should let the wrestling career go. I hope she can be like Brock and become a bigger deal on her own. Much more appealing now than she ever was as a diva. At least to me.

Cue the guys here kissing Trish's ass.
I only got one problem with her, see if anybody agrees. She says that she is done with wrestling, that she's moved on with her life. But yet every year she seems to tease a "return" or "comeback" to WWE, knowing damn well she won't.
I mean damn, I know the woman is beautiful and everything, but she's doing the same exact thing Rock does. He's called a "sellout", yet somehow she's a goddess. What, is it because he went to Hollywood?
Well, now she's trying to get in to movies too. And if she gets a good role, you can bet your ass she'll never show up in WWE again. I just hope you guys are consistent.

I'd rather have a Lita autograph.

Forget Rick Steiner -- Lita is the real Dogfaced Gremlin.

Yeah she's signing autographs at a baseball card store in Waterford, CT. That's almost as big as hosting the Academy Awards.
