TNA News: Hardcore Justice DVD Video & Artwork, Kevin Nash's Future, TNA's France Debut, More
Posted by Ashish on 09.03.2010

- Here's artwork and a video preview for TNA's Hardcore Justice DVD which is due out on 11/2.

- TNA's website has an interview up with Kevin Nash where he says he feels better than he has in about 5-6 years.

"I am one injury away from another rehab stint, but then I am sure I would come back again haha. Right now, I feel better than I have in about 5 or 6 years. I've lost a ton of weight and feel great. I don't see myself stopping right now. I would stop when it stops being fun. I still get nervous when I haven't wrestled in a while, but once I get going, I'm back into it. The other week on iMPACT!, I wrestled Jeff Jarrett in my first TV match in months and the next day, I felt great and really cared about what I do out there."

- Karen Angle has changed her twitter account name to Karen Jarrett.

- A big promotional push for Mick Foley's new book "Countdown to Lockdown" will begin in the next few weeks.

- Ric Flair was shown during the Southern Miss vs. South Carolina football game on ESPN. He blew a kiss to the crowd. ESPN noted Flair as a former pro-wrestler.

- TNA issued the following today.
TNA WRESTLING TO DEBUT IN FRANCE

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling announced a new television agreement that brings its flagship programme, "TNA iMPACT!" to France on Ma Chaine Sport. The deal was negotiated by RDA TV, exclusive international television distribution partners of TNA Entertainment.

"TNA iMPACT!" will air Fridays at 20:00 starting September 10, while TNA pay-per-view events will be available via MCS's On-Demand service beginning with TNA's biggest event of the year, "Bound For Glory 2010," October 10.

"TNA iMPACT!" brings a two hour weekly dose of the very best in professional wrestling to MCS, featuring huge matches and high drama from some of the most famous names in professional wrestling such as pop culture icon Hulk Hogan, ‘The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, ‘The Phenomenal' AJ Styles, "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam.

MCS is the among the leading sports channels in France reaching over 8 million households through Cable, Satellite, ADSL and Mobile. MCS boasts several sports channels including: Ma Chaine Sport (its flagship channel), MCS Extrême, MCS Mobile, as well as various PPV and VOD services. Other content carried on Ma Chaine Sport includes Football, Boxing, Tennis ATP/WTA, Athletics and many more, for a total of more than 4000 hours per year of exclusive content.

TNA President Dixie Carter said: "TNA is excited to bring ‘iMPACT!' back to our French fans. As TNA continues to grow internationally, our French fans have demanded TNA programming, and we're thrilled to bring the best professional wrestling in the world to MCS."

TNA Wrestling has gone from strength to strength since its founding in 2002 and now boasts broadcast deals in over 100 countries. In a sign of the growth of the TNA brand, global wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan signed on in 2009 to lead the roster of experienced veterans and up and coming superstars to new heights.

RDA TV has secured a record number of deals for TNA content over the past 12 months, amounting to almost 2000 hours of programming including the UK (Bravo, Extreme Sports Channel and BT Vision), Germany (Sky), Australia (Fox8, Fuel TV and One), Africa (Setanta Sports), Portugal (Sport TV), Denmark (Canal 9) and Panama (TV Max)

He says he feels the best he has in 5-6 years, not he expects to wrestle for another 5-6. Perish the thought!

Hahahaha, this is what TNA is all about. Hold on to the old guys.

Great. That would mean we'd see Kevin in the ring at age 56-57. How many of the four moves he knows will he be able to do then?

Umm, Nash didn't say he would wrestle for another 5-6 years, he said he feels better than he has in 5-6 years.

Why this torture, Kevin? Why?

Who did Stevie Richards blackmail to get on the cover?

As a casual TNA fan, let me just say to Kevin Nash... JUST RETIRE ALREADY. Be a manager, or an interviewer, or a bodyguard, or an authority figure, or SOMETHING else.

I always enjoyed Kevin Nash, hope he sticks around for a bit longer

Nash said he felt better than he had for 5-6 years, not that was how long he was going to continue. I mean... PLEASE GOD NO.

5-6?.....................

Posted By: Guest#6362 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 08:10 AM

Perhaps you're confused, but Nash never said he'd wrestled for 5-6 more years...he said he felt better than he had in the last 5-6 years.

No way in HELL Nash sticks around that long.

When is the last time Stevie Richards was on the cover of a DVD? How about when it didn't show him getting beaten up?

Stevie Richards is on a DVD cover in 2010. There's a warm and fuzzy feeling.

And people wonder why wrestling PPV buyrights and tv ratings are down. Guys like Kevin Nash need to go away or become managers. They can't wrestle anymore. Watching guys like Kevin Nash, Sting, etc. makes me cringe because they are just a shell of what they once were. Kevin Nash has really surprised though. He has gotten even more boring in the ring, something I never thought could happen.

so this is basically one big diss to WWE comparing WWECW to heat balls didn't complain when he was getting that check from vince for 2 years dreamer didn't complain when he was jobbing for 4 years and became ecw champion all of a sudden its a rule that any Former WWE performer must diss WWE Let these old has beens go the only man that drew a dime was RVD and even he fucked up the biggest push in his career

Posted By: jamille420 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 09:31 AM

Nash should have played Zeus in Clash of the Titans. He would have put Liam Neeson's performance to shame.

Posted By: billy (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 09:39 AM

Hey Big Kev...any chance you'll retire when you in the ring is not fun for us, or is just hurting the business and the company? Nah....keep squeezing the life out of another company. That's what you're best at.

why would anyone purchase hardshit justice???

Posted By: catsa (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 09:56 AM

Good for Nash, fuck the haters.

Guys still cuts better promos then 99% of the guys in TNA and WWE and the guys in great shape atm, looks better then he looked 12-15 years ago.

Posted By: Guest#4016 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 10:10 AM

Kevin Nash will continue in wrestling as long as companies like TNA will pay him large sums of money to do very little work. He will retire when the money runs out.

Posted By: K-Bob (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 10:41 AM

Where does it say he's going to wrestle for 5-6 more years? It says he feels the best he's felt in 5-6 years.

Posted By: ishbukid (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 10:48 AM

Good for him, he wrestles like my Grandpa plays shuffle board.

Glad he's enjoying it.

Posted By: 7 Foot Geezer (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 11:06 AM

I'm not surprised Kevn Nash reckons he can wrestle for the next 5-6 years, he's not wrestled since the NWO days so he's had plenty of rest.
:)

Good call ESPN. Flair is a former pro-wrestler. Now he's a full-time clown.

i didn't have to change anything or make anything watered down. and what is your name? it's balls mahoney, oh wait tna made me change it to kahoneyz. don't refer to it as ecw or we'll have to bleep it out so wwe doesn't sue us.

Posted By: Guest#3074 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 11:35 AM

How delusional is Kevin Nash??? Based on that, he's gonna retire AFTER Undertaker

Posted By: SS87 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 11:43 AM

Nash rules. Get over it!

Posted By: Guest#1727 (Guest)  on September 03, 2010 at 12:13 PM

Uh...Nash said he felt better than he has in 5 or 6 years...not that he would wrestle another 5 or 6 years. I sau he has a good 5 or 6 days left in his career.
