Kevin Nash Says He Is "Moving On" From TNA
Posted by Ashish on 09.10.2010
Nash goes on a Twitter rant...
- Kevin Nash was very active on Twitter last night, going back and forth with fans about TNA. Here are some of the comments Nash posted.
"you can say what you want about me I don't give a F**K ,but to ever question my integrity we no longer have a business relationship."
"and to the person that said every September I go to work for my self ,f**k you you didn't even see it. mid card bullshit neverbeens f**k you. "
You want to go to war with the best, hope you f**kers don't live in glass houses. sorry to the 33′276 that have no idea what I'm ranting 4. 10- 10- 10 shit 1099.
Jason Heary made me tweet that guess you have to stayed tune after impact 4 the answers. I'm a f**king man not some green horn boy .you don't like what I do fine .Pay me the dates you owe me .let my accounts [Note from Mike: Accountants?] look at the books.
RVD said Jeff hardy and him are rock stars ,in my prime I was selling out 30′000 plus seat domes they can't draw 1000 on the road. WTF.
I will work out my TNA contract anbd see what life brings me ,to my fans I love you and words can never explain what you mean to me. to the haters glad I was able to be there to dump on me to make u feel better about your F**KED up lifes.
going to take some time off twitter , will still read tweets just need to decompress away from the wrestling world. much love …..Kev."
Nash also said he was "moving on" when asked if he'd be staying in TNA. Word is that Nash's name has come up as being on board with the new WWP promotion in Florida. No word on whether the delays with that project have impacted Nash's involvement.

2011 WWE Hall of Famer(s): Kevin Nash and Scott Hall The Outsiders, or maybe just Nash. I'm pretty sure when HHH is in full control of WWE Nash could replace Lawler on Raw.
Posted By: jojo (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:38 AM
Karma is a bitch, isn't it Kevin? Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

WWE Hall of Fame next year?
Posted By: Philip (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:42 AM
That sucks! TNA just keeps shooting themselves in the foot. It's like they don't realize how to be progressive!
Nash, regardless of his work-rate or whatever in a fake sport, has been working for TNA long before Dixie opened her purse for WWE-jects. He was always around, at least showing up for a promo or not even to make an appearance on TV! I hope whoever pissed him off, realizes that out of the older guys, Nash has a true love for the business, and he WILL move right along with another company. He has NO reason to stick around with this floundering promotion if they are gonna treat him like shit. Hell with them Nash! Give Vince a call.
Posted By: DHX (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:44 AM
Hmmm...if Nash is moving on from TNA will Hogan also be "moving on" as well? Time will tell.

I'm actually a nash fan and he never sold out arenas, WCW DID! Be was ok but wrestling had really good writing at the time. He should check his ego.
Posted By: huh (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:52 AM
Anyone who doesn't know this is a work is naive. Kevin Nash knows how to stir shit up.

Well it sounds like we may be way over our heads with this one, so I say we just all back away slowly and forget we heard anything about this strange little rant.
Posted By: Dan (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:57 AM
I don't blame Nash. RVD and HArdy can't draw a dime. TNA should have given Nash the strap years ago. They would at least be getting a 3.5 rating by now. Yet they stuck with Sameo Bore and AJ no styles.....
Posted By: BigsEXY (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:57 AM
"Word is that Nash's name has come up as being on board with the new WWP promotion in Florida. No word on whether the delays with that project have impacted Nash's involvement." -411 wrestling.
And there are still people actually excited about the Florida mystery promotion?
Come guys get a clue, this florida mystery promotion are no different tha n any other promotion. They are going to rehire retreads like kevin nash and scott hall, if WWP even exists.
WWP is just a new palce to make a anothe buck!

The truth is, if he goes, he won't be missed. And surely everyone must be hoping he'll go.

Vinnie Vegas, you never HAD a prime. Go the route of many of your mates and just keel over. The afterlife doesn't have twitter yet, thank god.

Great shot at RVD and Jeff Hardy. Especially RVD, dude is boring in the ring and even sloppier in TNA than he was in WWE.
Posted By: T-Mac (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:04 PM
Nash, we don't believe you.
You need more people.
Posted By: shone jones (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:06 PM
I'm a fan of TNA... Not so much the booking but some of the talent, and if nothing else something other than WWE.(which i also watch and a fan of, I'm not marking out for either company they both do shit I find stupid, but that here nor there)
I say good! Get the hell out of TNA.. God forbid Nash actually put on a watch-able match. Time for TNA to trim some fat...Lets start with Nash who is only there for a paycheck! Who has stated it's like standing at an ATM thats spitting money out. Kick his ass to the curb.
Posted By: Josh (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:14 PM
This guy amazes me. he really thinks anyone is paying to see him? We don't want to know what you did in your prime dude. Bruno sold out Yankee Stadium...book him today and see how that one goes over. Oh and for the record...he'll put on a better match today than you have in the last decade. Good riddance to yesteryears garbage. I'd say TNA should do the same with the rest of the over the hill gang, but that would only leave them about 5 bodies on their roster.

Good, move on "Kev", you're too old and can't go anymore. You still cut decent promos but your time definitely passed. Now roll Hogan off the gurney into a wheel chair and roll off into the sunset.
Posted By: It's about time (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:18 PM
This is interesting, not so much that Nash will bring anything new to the WWP promotion, but the fact that he has been a TNA guy. Interesting.
Posted By: Guest#5584 (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:20 PM
well whatever coming on 10-10-10 it looks like it's "SHITTTT" like Nash said.. Nash is a smart man so i am sure he is right.. TNA sucks..

Hell yeah!!! I'm counting down the days until Nash leaves. I haven't cared about Nash since his last run with WWE. One washed up veteran down, and now all we need is for Sting to stop wrestling.

And a dark cloud that has hung over TNA for years begins to dissipate...
Posted By: No (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:29 PM
Not putting any hate on Big Kev, but when he was supposedly selling out 30,000, he was a with another promotion which had a better production rate than TNA, and he was a lot more relevant back then. Now, he's gray-haired Big Sexy, which isn't that sexy anymore. If more money were put in for promotion and higher quality matches and production of TNA, TNA would be doing a HELL of a lot better.

I have to agree with Nash on somethings. Sure he LOVES money, WHO doesn't (well besides communists). You also have to realize that some guys are there because the younger guys CAN'T talk! AJ's gotten better but that's NOT saying a lot! Now we're feeling the backlash (don't sue me for name usage Vinnie) of what Vinnie Mac did by killing the teritories! Sure there's ROH, how many has Vince either changed or for that matter hired? Punk? I recall his ring attire being quite different! Danielson? Screw you Vince! Publicise that he's an Indy guy but change his name. By the way..SCREW YOU COLE!!!! Vintage me~

Deserving enough to head up his own class in the HOF. I wish he would have came back earlier though to be DX's enforcer and had a few more laughs with HBK. The Fans still remember Nash in his Prime when the WWF ran on Diesel Fuel.

I can understand Nash's bitterness in his tweets. He has done more for TNA than Sting, Hogan, Bischoff, Jarrett, Angle, and Dixie Carter combined.

Good, Nash is better than TNA, Always has been, always will be. Under held.

Kevin Nash was apparently the worst drawing champ in WWF history and spearheaded one of the worst periods in WWF history (1995).
Kevin Nash booked WCW into further disaster where it never recovered. He booked himself to end Goldberg's streak, booked buddy Konnan to win the TV title and was behind the decision of the Finger Poke of Doom. After the highs in 1996 and 97, WCW was out of business in 2001.
Kevin Nash collected every cent from his contract with Time Warner before signing with WWF in 2002. He quickly injured his quad, collected his pay and contributed virtually nothing for the duration of his contract.
How this guy shows his face to society is beyond me.

"RVD said Jeff hardy and him are rock stars
,in my prime I was selling out 30′000 plus seat domes they can't draw 1000 on the road. WTF."
Wait, what? I don't care much about Hardy and Van Dam, but when did Big Kev drew anything? 30000? In the WWF, he didn't draw shit. In wCw... well, sorry to break it to you, Kevin, but it was Hogan.

Cue E-Tards jumping back on the Nash bandwagon.
Posted By: Acid (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 01:19 PM
Nash's ability to tweet like a teenage girl/Jerry Springer guest is also noted.

"in my prime I was selling out 30′000 plus seat domes they can't draw 1000 on the road. WTF."
No offense, Kev, but "you" weren't soley responsible for all those butts in the seats. The machine that is..or was..WWE(F) AND the people they hired AND trained and booked/wrote for you were all responsible.
TNA is, was and will be a clusterscrew, no doubt. (Sting as a heel, and a part time one to boot? Sad more than laughable)
Take some time, stay in shape, get healthy, give Vince a call, do one final run *cough* payday *cough*) before the Hall of Fame in 2012 and go live your life somewhere.....

Please stay away from wrestling forever. You've raped it way beyond repair. You have little to no in ring ability. Your run as WWF champion in 1995 was pathetic. Your WWE run in 2002 thru 2003 was horrid. Your booking in WCW helped put them out of business. You ended Goldberg's undefeated streak in the shittiest way possible. You have done far more harm than good and you haven't been relevant in years. Go run across the ring one last time before you leave so you can blow both of your knees out Super Shredder >:)
Posted By: Puff (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 03:06 PM

Goodbye, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out of TNA. Feel free to take Russo, Hogan, Bischoff and Ken Anderson with you.
With utter contempt for every second you waste of air-time in TNA.

Man...last night's episode of Impact was their best one EVER!
Posted By: Bake Dizzle (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 03:19 PM
As far as I am concerned, and not that to matters to anyone but me - Big Kev is still the man. "big guys" in the ring never exactly bounce around like mexican jumping beans, but they do what they do. With Kev though you got the personality, the mic skill, and love him or hate him, we're all talking about him. At the end of the day that's more attention then a lot of the "top guys" are getting. Personally i'd like to see him blow off wrestling and get into a TV show, he's got the chops to be a comedic actor.
As for his rants, glass houses.. i've made many myself so, but honestly i think the 'business side' should stay there not on twitter. But who knows maybe this is the only way he can get the msg to them.
I'll tell you one other thing, i'd just about donate an organ just to sit in a room with Nash when he's in a good mood and telling locker room tales. Hell even if he made them up as he went it would be awesome.
Sorry i'm not a mark for the nash character, but the guy who puts on the show has my undying respect.
Cheers ! Give them hell.

Wow Kevin nash is as injury prone as Ken Kennedy (Anderson) and yet he talks all big and bad like he puts over other young talent??? Ok the Natural Born Thrillas was one group he put over back around 1999 - 2000 BUT, hes old and cannot and does not put over other wrestlers that deserve it. He is so not over as a old fart. He needs to do everyone a favor and just quit crying and admit he is worthless now.
Posted By: Guest#1098 (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 04:54 PM
If fans were willing to give up their hard earned dimes to see Kevin Nash wrestle, they would be doing that already. Your champion does not determine whether or not people will watch your show, it’s interesting storylines followed up by good matches.
The only way Kevin Nash could draw 3.5 ratings for TNA would be a live sex celebration.
I think Nash should go to the WWE and be a Road Agent. It’s obvious he cares about the younger folks they way he talked up Motor City Machine Guns in every interview. He even got suspended for crapping on the Dudley after they gave Sabin a neck stinger on live television.
Posted By: the danger stranger (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 05:02 PM
Kevin should have done this long ago. No one should have realistically been champion over him. The WWE would except him in some capacity Im sure. Kevin Nash, Diesel, Oz, Vinnie Vegas, all could have been world champ in tna but stupid fucking writing. God bless you Kevin ! WWE champion for an entire year !! Last guy to do that. HOF for sure. He is the shit, hes telling ya !!
Posted By: beerslayer (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 05:05 PM
Kevin is just awesome and could still do so many things in the business, he's smart and funny, has good look and presence, could be a great color commentator in any wrestling promotion cause he's so much better than Lawler and even Taz but I'd like to see him wrestle some more years, he's done quite well in TNA, especially last year, btw I'd like to see him in WWE as Diesel for one last run. Have Diesel come back (black haired big Daddy cool) and then book an epic storyline with the return of Shawn, HBK wins the belt, and the Outsiders get the tag team titles, now that would make the fanboy in me really really happy.
Posted By: Max (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 05:15 PM

Nash is God! Kev, you are the man, these internet wankers don't know jack sh*t about the business Let those mid-carders have it! Nash was selling out MSG, building the model that Steve Austin would steal and was winning titles, all while your parents were bangin' in the back of their 79 chevy. Nash, you deserve better. The best big man of the 90's. The WWF almost WENT OUT OF BUSINESS when Nash left. He should go back (just leave Hall & Pac at home).

He does make one point, at this point in time TNA should be drawing more that 1,500 to any show, really after 8.5 years. That is a good point, TNA still has no clue

"Dont tear a quad on the way out."
I wish I'd thought of that.

Kevin Nash: coolest guy in wrestling. Why? because he can afford to be.
Posted By: Jim Rome (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 06:57 PM
The end to boring, tasteless, political piece of crap promos. Out with with the most laziest wrestler of all time! Nash could never draw anything, he was on Hogans coattails.
Posted By: TNA Fan (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 07:12 PM
how do you people think that Nash would be helping with the Ratings when "Big Sexy" can barely even walk to the ring, much less move around it?? he's more like TNA's versoin of The Great Khali. but i do respect his feelings and hope in the creation of the new company, that he has some pull in who he brings in. as for Hardy and RVD, they are what the fans wanna see. if Nash thinks he's still a main eventer, he's crazier than Eugene was in WWE. the best career push Nash ever had was in WCW with the Wolfpac. does that ring a bell to you fan-haters?? when he was in his prime, i was a Nash fan, but now, he's washed up, just like Hogan and a few other old guys still trying to get a job in the business. just send him out to the pasture, along with Hogan and a few others, and put them out of their wrestling misery. if Nash wants to stay in the business, put him on the mic, and get rid of Tenay(on TNA Impact). Nash and Tazz as commentators would be great, in my opinion. and let's also get rid of Sting carrying around that dang bat. what happened to the Sting that went out and did his thing, without having to use the shady tactics?? Be a Man Steve Borden, and fight fair, or just LEAVE.
i myself would rather see guys like RVD and Jeff Hardy in the main events over old guys that are way passed their prime. period.

I do have a soft spot for Nash as an on-air personality, even if I can't stand to see him wrestle. The PCS was awesome.
Godspeed, Big Kev. Please retire from the ring.

He's Big Texty!

"Kevin Nash was apparently the worst drawing champ in WWF history and spearheaded one of the worst periods in WWF history (1995).

Proven to be bullshit by this very web site. Perhaps check your facts before rehashing rumors the IWC has cultivated for years.

Minus the nWo angle, that he had no part in creating, he's just Oz.
Posted By: Sink (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 08:53 PM
Work. Just like the YouTube backstage videos with Hall.
Whether it was a work or not, if he's upset with his lack of matches, all we need to do is look at his iMpact match with JJ. I'm as far from a JJ fan as you can get almost, but he looks like Alex Shelley by comparison. Nash, please go back to things like being a manager, calling matches, etc and not being a wrestler. And if you really are quitting, at least give us some closure on this really lame, drawn out angle with you/Sting/JJ/Hogan/Bischoff because if you don't, it'll have been the biggest waste of time ever.

Big Lazy is all about Florida, so he will probably not end up in WWE, unfortunately. I think he has a good mind for the business but his time in the ring is over with, for his own safety. He's good on the mike, though.

say what you will about nash and his work rate and his booking skills, but he's been in TNA for how many years now trying to put over younger guys, yes he's been trying look at the programs he's had with joe, alex shelly way back when, and even with AJ. The problem is that TNA is trying to fast track something that the WWE spent the better part of a decade doing.. you know building an audience. They'll never ever beat the WWE at the rate they are going. The problem they are having is that they think they need old timers to get people to watch, so so far all they have been doing is complicate story lines with new additions (for real what has Nash been doing? first it was a pay thing now its a him and sting they took our jobs thing? its messy and lame) they've successfully turned off their original fan base who wanted to watch something different from the wwe and see new wrestlers who could wrestle. I'm sure Nash isn't the only one upset at how TNA is and has been since Hogan came in with all the new WWEjects. Pre-Hogan we had 5 star back to back PPV matches with AJ and Daniels and Joe in the main events we had a great knockouts division (pre-lacey) still had an x division eric young in a cool gimic with a pretty bad ass stable Post-Hogan we got the likes of sean morley (gone) Bubba the love sponge (gone thank god) the nasty boys (gone) and stupid ramp that led to the apron and ended the chance of seeing some high flying dives (gone) orlando jordan (reduced to xplosion how is he still employed?) we got a ton of WWE-jects a ton of stupid storylines putting over hogan's boys lost daniels lost ratings lost money lost the knockouts division lost most of the knockouts lost the x division lost the moral of the entire company... Thanks dixie for taking the small nashville promotion i actually liked and turning it into some lame confusing shit with no emphasis on anything your original true fan base even likes, cause news flash its not talking its not interviews dumb storylines and scripted drama and its not wwe's table scraps, tna original fans like the x division, the knockouts actually wrestling, joe killing, AJ flying, Beer Money, king of the mountain matches, and you know wrestling the stuff TNA was before they went to spike

I'm actually a nash fan and he never sold out arenas, WCW DID! Be was ok but wrestling had really good writing at the time. He should check his ego.
Posted By: huh (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 11:52 AM
He was also at the time the losest drawing champion in wwf history even after holding the title for almost a year.He just was lucky to be in the right place at the right time with whole outsiders gimmick.Any upper mid carder from the wwf could have pulled it off.Now kevin's off to rape another money mark out of money for doing nothing and drawing no one.

"The WWF almost WENT OUT OF BUSINESS when Nash left. He should go back (just leave Hall & Pac at home).
Posted By: FTW~13 (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 05:22 PM"
The WCW went OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF NASH (among others) IMO !
This guy is a frickin cancer, a virus which ruins any federation he is inside, not only that but he is totally WASHED UP, has been, a piece of crap who can barely walk and is a total joke both on the mic and in the ring in 2010.
IF NOT for one SHAWN MICHAELS, Nash would have gotten the career of a Snitsky and would already be forgotten.
The case of the right place at the right time and total luck.
Karma is a biatch really, glad you're fucked up and pissed at the haters Nash.
Now take you HUGE Paycheck from TNA and never come back.
I've seen enough BURIAL of X Division and Young TNA Talents to feed your super massive EGO Piece Of Has Been Crap !

"RVD said Jeff hardy and him are rock stars ,in my prime I was selling out 30′000 plus seat domes they can't draw 1000 on the road. WTF."
He has a point you know.
Posted By: Sheamus>TNA (Guest) on September 10, 2010 at 12:46 PM
What point? Let's compare Hardy and RVD in their primes to big Kev in his prime. I am so sick of the arguments of old timers. Wrestling was bigger then, and Nash still managed to have some crappy years.
And when was his prime? When he did three moves a match?
Posted By: Guest#8637 (Guest) on September 11, 2010 at 01:59 AM
Why keep paying Big Sexy when you've got the real deal in Big Stevie Cool?
Posted By: poffo316 (Guest) on September 11, 2010 at 03:04 AM
10/10/10 = Paul Heyman. He said in an interview that he'd ditch anyone over 40 so Nash is shit outta luck. I'm calling it first. The messiah is coming!

I think we know who the mystery GM is going to be now....

WCW went out of business because of the AOL/Time Warner buyout. The AOL did not want wrestling on their networks. Not anything Nash, Bishoff, Kevin Sullivan or Russo BOOKED. You stupid, stupid, little kids.
Posted By: FTW~13 (Guest) on September 11, 2010 at 08:57 AM
I really hope Nash doesn't leave TNA. Him and Orlando Jordon are the only reason I watch Impact.

LOL, your kidding right? If WCW made money AOL/Timewarner would have keep WCW. Since WCW was run into the ground and losing money, they sold it.

I'd like to see a final WWE run culminating with a Wrestlemania match and a DVD set! Maybe just make him a body guard for someone...Dibiase's money paying off Nash would be a nice angle.
