- Right After Wrestling interviewed Kevin Thorn yesterday, you can listen to that interview here. Here are some highlights…
"The guys, who need rehab, need rehab. It's not because of the business and it's not because of the pain. It's because they hate not being under the lights anymore. I don't know anyone out there who is doing drugs because they are hurting. It's not because of pain. The pain is the mentality that they can't do this anymore and they need something to numb them. They get so much joy out of coming out to the lights and the crowd. The greatest thing ever is being under those lights. That's our drug. And to go from being under those lights in WWE to going in front of American Legion Hall in front of 200 fans, it's kind of a letdown."
- Right After Wrestling interviewed Shane Helms yesterday, you can listen to that interview here. Here are some highlights…
"Me and Matt (Hardy) talk on a daily basis. He's doing really good and he's in a good spot in his life. He was just ready to go, like myself when I left (WWE), I was just ready to go. I didn't realize how ready I was to leave until about a month after my release. Back to Matt, he's in a happier place, he's got a ton of projects on the shelf, me and him will be doing a ton of stuff together as well."

I agree with Kevin Thorn. When you leave that spotlight that wrestling casts, mentally it can be a tough transition from the ring to the home life.

News of the first Hardy/Helms project has already leaked out. They will star in a movie called "(Un)Super-Size Me"
The plot revolves around Helms trying to get the newly unemployed Hardy to stop eating so much while Hardy devises ways to conceal his ravenous ways....hilarity ensues.

In the Uk the BBC are not only covering the Senate Battle grounds but are reffering to Linda as a republican Wrestling Magnate vs Democrat who lied about war record, while also predicting that she'll lose.
And for those who love some good linkage and if you 411 guys want to update this item with the link here it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11550333

All the people who want to rag on Matt Hardy need to take a step back and look in the fucking mirror. Stop projecting your self-loathing. It's sad.
Matt Hardy is hardly the most out of shape superstar in wrestling right now. Take a look at most of the TNA roster, for instance. Drug addicts and over the hill self-indulgent whores.
Seriously, the Fatt Hardy jokes are redundant. I'm not much of a fan of the guy either, but goddamn people. He's more in shape than 90% of the hypocrites that visit this site.

1. Funk. Living legend.
2. Will 'roids get me over?
Will drugs get me over?
In the ring AND in Life?
The REAL Main Event:
Truth Vs. (self/other) Deception
W/ Free Will as referee
3. Matt, Jeff: Phenomenal performers
(Dory Jr. Legend. Trainer.)

right now the legends of wrestling is about families, but i'm looking forward to the next one which is about overachievers and underachievers. i really like this part of classics on demand and wish they would put more of the legends series on dvd.

As an indy wrestler that wrestles maybe 5-6 times a month, there is no bigger rush than hitting the ring, be it in front of 20 or 3000 people. When a guy steps in the ring, all the aches and pains go away.

I absolutely agree. I may not like the guy a whole lot but he has done a lot for the wwe over the past 10 years and they treated him like shit. And, he's not nearly as out of shape as a lot of people on this site point out. Ric Flair was and looked awful and completely out of shape when he left the wwe. And yet, no one bitched about that. People who make fun of a guy just because he looks like hes 5 or 10 pounds heavier are just insecure about themselves so they can feel better about themselves by making fun of and engaging in stupid jokes about someone else. Thats all it is.

Yeah, being Mordecai would've lead to drug problems for sure.
