WWE News: Christian Update, Evan Bourne Interview, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.03.2011

- Christian has stated that he should be back in the ring by the time Smackdown tours Germany on April 15th.

- WWE.com recently interviewed Evan Bourne about recovering from his rotator cuff injury, here are some highlights…

"I had five anchors put in, four months of physical therapy and a couple of weeks rolling around in the ring. It was really intensive. It was at least a twice-a-day type of thing. I would meet in the morning with my physical therapist, and then in the afternoon or evening I would be going to the gym on my own, doing my Thera-Band [an elastic resistance training device] work, light weights, keeping my cardio up, stretching and everything else."

- On March 16th, Ted DiBiase will appearing at the Florida Championship Wrestling show in Punta Gorda to sign autographs and team with his brother Brett in a match.

- From Steve Fernandes: In what is probably a first, Scott Armstrong was a victim of wrestling rib played out on Twitter. It started when he was telling people on his twitter (@ScottArmstrong_) to follow Kane (@GlenKaneJacobs) and that it was a real account, going as far as saying that he spoke to him on the phone, so he knows it's really him. A few hours later, he noted "I'm sorry everyone. I was the victim of a bad joke that went viral! My fault, I'm sorry! Joke played on me by someone I care about so they will remain nameless but sorry u guys all went on the ride with me! NOT REAL KANE. My bad!" Later he added, in response to a tweet "Yes, a rib from 1 of the boys!!!! LOL"

i wonder how TNA are gonna copy WWE tonight? TNA always copies WWE. TNA even copied WWE when Jericho came back during the code promos and TNA did the same code promos with booker T when he was coming to TNA. what a rip off. TNA sucks. and needs to stop copying WWE. get your own ideas TNA. TNA is stupid.

I read the book by Drew Brees (QB of the New Orleans Saints) and his description of his shoulder surgery and subsequent lengthy rehab is very similar to Bourne's.

Is it just me, or did you find it really weird that Christian would beat up Del Rio at the Rumble, show that his pec was fine and he was 100% and then completely disappear from Smackdown storylines?

Unless it involved shit, it's not a real wrestling rib.

Actually it was EC, but your right. I thought that he could be involved in the world title match because he showed up and attacked ADR. I don't know why they would do it if he is not gonna be able to wrestle at WM.

My guess is he will be going after Del Rio after Mania. They proabably just wanted to see what type of reaction he would get.

I really hope Christian is just trying to deflect a little attention so its a suprise when he costs edge/del rio the match, but I doubt it. He may not be better in the ring than a lot of guys but imo he's better in the ring & on the mic than Edge is but gets ignored because he dosnt have the visual marketability that Edge does. Hopefully the e recognizes someday that Christian sacrificed his body just the same as the Hardys and Edge so why not give him a run? Jeff got his run, Edge obviously has had his, Matt dug his own grave by always drawing backstage attention, and Christian has never publicly caused any heat and has always performed. Cut the shit and just give the dude a chance.
