WWE Releases Agent Fit Finlay
According to Pwinsider.com, WWE released top producer/agent Dave “Fit” Finlay yesterday.
During a house show in The Miz was booked to come out an interrupt the national anthem. In attendance were a number of representatives for the National Guard, who are a big partner and sponsor for WWE. They were not pleased that the National Anthem was used to get cheap heat like that, and word made its way back to WWE management. Since Finlay was the top producer on the show, the decision was made to release him. Basically, he had to “had to fall on the sword” and take responsibility for the incident.
Many people were shocked when he was released. Finlay had been with WWE since 2001, and was said to be well liked. Many are hoping that it is a situation where he got released, but will be brought back down the line.
