Nice to see Kobashi back!

Of course, Kobashi can come back, hell Muta can still wrestle and the IWC loves it. But yet guys like Sting and RVD are just too old to be going at it right?

In all honesty as great as Kobashi was, he shouldn't be wrestling anymore either. He's way too injured all the time, with terrible knees, not to mention the bout with cancer. It's just that the mentality in Japan is different and guys wrestle forever there. I don't think anyone would argue Misawa should've been wrestling the last two or years either. Hell, Taue still wrestles too. It would be one thing if they went the Baba/Jumbo route of settling into the jokey old-timer matches, but they don't really have those anymore.

Then again, let's not mention RVD and Kobashi in the same breath again.

Not everyone over 40 has the same physical condition. Jaguar Yakota is 49 and she can still do moonsaults and hurricaranas perfectly. RVD can also still go, but Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Sting clearly cant anymore.

Kobashi should probably stay out of the ring, but NOAH are desperate right now for a big star to return. He should still be able to perform, but nobody is going to expect 5-star matches from him anymore.

I doubt Kobashi would be winning any World Titles anytime soon. He'll probably be shuffled to an attraction role where he fights hard and goes out on his back in multi-man matches.

"Currently being advertised for the upcoming WWE Canadian house shows with John Cena defending the WWE title and Randy Orton defending the world title."

So I guess the whole "card subject to change" rule is in effect here, or are they giving away a future storylinem

Fucking Kobashi's beaten cancer, what the hell has Sting or RVD done of late? Exactly, fuck all!

"but nobody is going to expect 5-star matches from him anymore."

And yet i'm still willing to bet he'll put out a couple before he's done. Still though, i worry about this. His body is clearly screaming for him to stop with all the serious injuries he's had the past few years. He should listen to it so he can still have a life after wrestling.
