Re-read Disc 1, genius. Those are the chapter titles of the documentary.
Posted By: Guest #8151 (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 09:59 AM
I think the documentary is split into chapters. I'm sure JR said it featured a documentary.
Posted By: StDomingo (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 09:59 AM
lmao the survivor series still get left off ex blu ray damm they really dont want to show that match
Posted By: jeff copeland (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 10:15 AM
How do you have a DVD/Blu Ray release on the Rivalry of Shawn and Bret and have the MOST important match as a BluRay exclusive "Moment" and not on the DVD... Talk about disappointing... Is it even the whole match on the BluRay? Why isn't it on the DVD? The only reason for this DVD is based off of that match!

Disc 1 is a sit down interview with Bret, HBK, and Jim Ross. I assume it'll be intercut with clips of matches and promos.

Montreal Screwjob a blu-rau exclusive? Epic fail.

Yep it's bluray definitely.

It's Bullshit that the Montreal screwjob is a blu ray exclusive. Just by looking at the 3rd disc, they could have put the screwjob match on there than the hall of fame stuff. I see this as bullshit because the wwe advertise approx. 9 hours run time on the regular 3 disc sets yet it is only 6-7 hours.(Superstars of 21st century was a little over 6 hours) I feel that the regular dvd buyers are being ripped off because we don't get a full 9 hours or close to it yet the extras on the blu ray dvd would fill up the 3 disc dvd to the run time it should be. This is one of the reasons why wwe dvds aren't selling as well as they did in the past. I don't by many blu ray dvd's and only have a few wrestling blu rays(mostly PPV dvds) but i hate the fact that i'm forced to by the blu ray for the extra content that to me should also be on the regular dvd.

kinda a bummer that the entire 1997 match isn't on the DVD, but let's face it, it's been on every other DVD one way or another. the Iron Man match makes up for it immensely.

The ladder match was in Portland MAINE, not Oregon, I was there for that match
Posted By: Soul Tsukino (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 12:30 PM
I seriously hope this is a success, because I want a set on Taker vs. Mankind!
Posted By: WetOREO (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 12:32 PM
Was this Bret/Shawn's decision to keep 1997 as a Blu-Ray exclusive? I highly doubt they couldn't fit it on that 3rd disc, which looks underwhelming. Other than that gripe, this looks AWESOME.

Only Spencer could ruin an awesome DVD listing with his idiocy
Posted By: Bill (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 12:50 PM
if this is the first in a series, i would like to see:
edge vs cena
angle vs brock-not likely
sting vs flair-not likely
take vs kane

I can't wait!!! This is gonna be awesome!
Posted By: Mongo (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 12:53 PM
I will take the 4-5 matches that haven't been released on DVD and that I haven't seen yet over the Montreal Screwjob which has been on multiple DVDs that I own and I have seen many, many times. I'm sure it will be covered on the documentary anyway.

quit crying and get a PS3 or a bluray player and get with the times you whiney bitches! Same shit happened with VHS when DVD's came out. That's how "special features" started, they're extras because its a DVD. Same applies. I'm assuming the people crying are children, and they don't have jobs so their opinion means nothing.

Man, I've read a lot of dumb-ass comments today, but this one might take the cake. DVD special features weren't included on VHS releases because DVD can hold like, 6 to 12 hours more hours of content VHS can. Blu-ray "special features" are a decision made by the makers of said blu-rays to bilk morons like YOU out of more money. Unlike with VHS, there is no conceivable reason that this content can't be on the regular DVD as well. It's a cash grab. They must love seeing you running up the street, drool hanging off your lip and clenched fists full of money.
Posted By: Mark-ass mark (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 02:37 PM
Wait, the matches only go up to '93, and then the Iron Man? Isn't the 1997 stuff the real rivalry? Like, the hair-pulling and the Sunny days? This is kinda lame, actually.

Haha, the old tried-and-true "insult the wrestling fan" trick. Most people are just making valid complaints that a major aspect of their rivalry is denigrated to the lesser-owned BluRay when it probably could've been fit on the DVD. I kinda feel the same way, though some of you are making good points that Montreal is already on enough releases.
Posted By: Guest#3421 (Guest) on August 05, 2011 at 03:31 PM
I wish they would have included more segments with DX vs Hart Foundation, maybe a few triple H vs Bret and Owen/Bulldog vs HBK matches...
