Edge Discusses His Appearance on SyFy Show Haven
Posted by George H. Sirois on 08.06.2011

Terri Bey sent the following to PWInsider.com regarding Edge's performance on the SyFy show Haven:

I just watched Edge in "Haven" on SYFY. The basic story of this episode was that the Mayor of the town of Haven died of electrocution in a very mysterious manner. Edge's character, Dwight, comes in as an electrician to fix the damage, and Dwight interacts with Nathan, eventually revealing in this particular episode a connection with Nathan's father. Edge's character was in just a few sporadic scenes. However, I thought he did a very good job. He didn't look out of place, and I think Edge made Dwight interesting, and kind of mysterious. I enjoyed Edge's work.

TheScore.com now has an audio interview with Edge online. He discusses life after wrestling, his appearance on Haven, his return to that show in the future and more.

I like this show, and thought that he did a better than average job in what looks to be a small, recurring role that could eventual lead to an episode or two centered on his character.

Good for him. It's really weird that he is listed in the opening credits as "WWE Superstar Edge" right in the midst of normal first and last names, sans corporate honorific.

Why waste space on this diva coward? Edge does not deserve to be Included in the wrestling section. He will soon quit acting like he has quit everything else in his life.

It's sad that people like you are breathing, let the man enjoy his life after wrestling and you can go back to jerking off to naked pictures of your mom or sister or dad, whatever floats your boat, ok?

I understand where you are coming from..
Then again I don't. Your nothing but awhining, delusional jerk who just loves to sit on their ass and post stupid messages trying to bash people all day. Who the hell are you to talk about what people deserve or don't deserve? Go back to your second rate TNA section you goof.

never heard of haven but I wish somebody would cast edge in the role of a man. so maybe he would get the courage to put on his big boy pants on and get back in the ring.

It's a shame G.L.O.W is not still around, maybe Edge would have felt safer wrestling there.

THIS my freinds is a prime example of how FUCKED up today's generation is.

I have no idea why 411Mania let's bottom feeder's like these guys express there delusional opinions, when they really are only making themselves look like fools.

If they honestly think Edge should still be wrestling, even though his doctors basically told him he could DIE! you hear me? DIE if he takes any more bumps.....then these idiots need to get a grip on reality, because it's knocking on there front door....and so far, they haven't answered.

Your right Richard doctors told him he "Could" be paralysed or die.
I guess I should quit my job since while driving I "Could" get hurt in a accident.

I kinda wish edge didn't save his money and is forced to start wrestling again. In either tna or wwe really doesn't matter. I'm still a little pissed about him turning his back on his fans and walking out but I would like to see him wrestle again

With all due respect, that is a shitty comparison, consider 90% of this world drives cars, and very few people have ever Wrestled in WWE Ring.

For one thing, Edge has nothing left to prove to anyone. He's had a long, decorated and spectacular career. Why would he risk everything at this point when he could sit back and ejoy the rest of his life with his freinds and family? It's not like he's going hollywood and acting like he's better than Wrestling. The Rock didn't have to leave for health reasons, he left because he wanted to be a movie star. Edge left because he figured it was better to be safe than sorry, there is nothing "Lame" or "Sell-out" about that. There is a reason you don't see Bret hart wrestling any matches, it's because if he takes any bumos there is a huge chance he could suffer another stroke.

Edge is in the same situation, except it involves his neck.

What makes me laugh is all this TNA fans dissing Edge are huge Hulk Hogan marks. Hogan, who hasnt wrestled full in about ten years...because of medical reasons.

love the sheep who defend edge after he spit in your face. go buy his shirts & watch his tv shows. I will stick with men who go out & preform everynight without bitching about his aches & pains.

Has anyone mentioned that www told edge he COULDN'T wrestle anymore. He didn't have a choice in the matter, he was told he had to retire. "Blame" the wwe doctors for telling him he couldn't. It'd be awesome to see you guys react if you really ran into this guy. You'd kiss his ass in a nanosecond

And If Your Doctor Says That You Can No Longer Drive Due To Blindness, The State Takes Your License Away, You Moran.

Where you there when edge was told this? Why do you keep defending him. Edge made up this whole injury story so he could retire (QUIT!) so he wouldn't have to drop the belt to Alberto Del Rio.

Yes, because Spinal Stenosis is such a tiny boo-boo. I'd like to see any jerkoff get up in the morning nevermind wrestle when you're severely lacking spinal fluid.
