I would add at least 2 million MORE viewers to SmackDown if I was on the show.

Ouch, that is not a good rating, considering the amount of money WWE has put into the brand. You would think a show with Orton would pull somewhere in the 2's. TNA, with a much smaller payroll and without the marketing machine, pulls in respectable ratings in comparison.

Smackdown's ratings continue to decline. They are losing advertisers and revenue. That is why they can't print more CM Punk shirts.

Spencer's badmouthing of Edge begins in 3, 2, 1...

I think many turned in just to see if the old saying is true and they actually could see the yellow streak running down his back.

"The episode of Haven that featured Edge brought in 1,824,000 viewers and finished with a 1.34 rating."
Which compares to last week or the week before...how? If we are to figure out how many viewers Edge brought to this show, shouldn't we have a comparison with at least last week's ratings? No way he brought in 1.8 million viewers by himself.

Haven > Impact...lol.

Well how many viewers did he drive away?
I would never watch a show with him on it. Once he walked away, he is gone forever to me.

Spencer is right on the money with badmouthing Edge. I generally dont agree with his rants, but on this one he is spot on. I am amazed how many on this site are still fans of Edge. I knew he had a big fan base but this is silly. He flicks off the audience, and walks out, and he is still worshiped? F that

what kind of mark would think randy orton can boost it by 1?

what is haven rating being posted on a wrestling board?
because so former wrestler was on the show?
maybe edge will find his smile but i am not interesting in his film career.

For the record, I don't have a problem with Edge retiring, although I think he is super overrated. My problem is with the WWE creating Smackdown to compete with themselves, and then failing to even do that.
Smackdown is a terrible show, no matter who you put on it. TNA has a better roster and better storylines, and its only a matter of time before IMPACT overtakes smackdown in the ratings.

Explain how Edge is overrated. That's all I ask. Sure, he had the worst spear in the business, but that alone does not make him overrated.
Calling Smackdown a terrible show is just utter stupidity. Smackdown is probably the best wrestling show on right now, with Impact being second and Raw a distant, distant third.

My sentiments exactly. And those in TNA should be REALLY embarrassed

Edge didn't have an impressive build. He was good on the mic and a decent worker (some of his moveset was silly), but I don't buy that he belongs on the same list as Hogan, Austin, Bret, Flair, Rock, Sting. He had a cartoony spear.
If it weren't for Lita-Matt Hardy, Edge might have remained an upper mid-carder at best. Not a terrible wrestler, but definitely not in the top 10.

"You would think a show with Orton would pull somewhere in the 2's."
Why? (hasn't the rating dropped since they moved Orton over?)
