WWE News: Sin Cara Update, Randy Orton Upset With WWE, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 08.13.2011
More Saturday news…
- During today's THQ event for WWE'12, Randy Orton went off on WWE for not letting Joe Hennig use his real name. He then stated that he was a big fan of Kelly Kelly.
- The roster for WWE ‘12 was announced today, you can check that out here.
- There is at least one if major character that will be announced in the future, and another one announced in September.
- Following last night's Smackdown, it looks as if they will do a Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara feud. WWE development talent Hunico played Sin Cara at the latest tapings.
- While on KTLA in Los Angels, Miz teased a match with Rey Mysterio at Summerslam.
A Sin Cara vs Sin Cara feud? Is that because with two of them botches will be less obvious?

I'd be willing to bet money one of the later announced characters will be Macho Man.

After watching Smackdown, I actually thought that would be a naturally good idea, glad WWE may be going with it (although Sin Cara vs Sheamus would've made more sense until a few weeks ago)

"During today's THQ event for WWE'12, Randy Orton went off on WWE for not letting Joe Hennig use his real name."
Well, I guess that pretty much tells us who's gonna win tomorrow.

Orton was just rambling about Joe Hennig in the ring during that THQ event because he really had nothing else to talk about. He tried to talk about the video game's Predator technology but didn't really have much to say about it other than what was obviously the basic definition someone else had given him. The Kelly Kelly comment was just a hilarious nod to his previous comments about her being a slut that had reportedly hurt her feelings.
Also, there are more DLC to be announced (about 14 according to the THQ website), and there is ONE secret superstar they can't announce until September. Current speculation is that it is Mick Foley due to TNA contractual obligations (since Foley himself suggested he would be in the game), but it's still not clear if he is the secret one or if he's just part of the other unannounced DLC.

The major character has to be Shawn Michaels.

they could improve that feud by giving each of them a now meaningless WWE championship

Isn't the current Sin Cara (Hunico) taller than the original?
Posted By: #Imjustsayin... (Guest) on August 13, 2011 at 06:55 PM
Two Sin Caras? That's going to be a lot of theatrical lights.
Posted By: Guest#7059 (Guest) on August 13, 2011 at 07:08 PM
i love how miz is doing all this press for summerslam even though he isn't on the card. that makes so much sense.

Orton was great but angry as he gave the finger to Triple H. I wonder why?

Fuckin A on the Hennig thing, a spit on on Curt's grave that his legacy isn't properly represented on screen.
Miz needs to have his match with Rey at summerslam. I know 5 matches on the card gives everyone more than usual time, but even if we had five 4 star plus matches on the card, I can't take any ppv seriously if the card has less than 6 matches. Unless of course it contains speciality matches, like the elimination chamber or the MITB.
Sin vs Sin?? I don't really know I'm getting shades of Taker vs Taker here. Sin cara doesn't really talk and they don't have any mouthpieces so I dunno how that fued will play out.
HBK will defo be in that game, no doubt.

I believe that I can say, with all sufficiency, I called that Sin Cara v. Sin Cara feud in the comments of this week's Fact or Fiction. And I, for one, am kind of looking forward to it. I just hope they differentiate the "rudo" Sin Cara from the "tecnico" Sin Cara just a little bit. Like, make Hunico's tights red and black or red and white. Not right away of course, but after a little bit of time.

Orton is suddenly a fan of Kelly Kelly? Does that mean she finally slept with him?

Ha ha, well said.
Also, the Sin Cara idea is actually kind of interesting - the new guy in the character was solid in his match on Friday so this idea of having two guys fighting over the "identity" could work, though I wouldn't have minded waiting until the character was better established.
At least it's kind of a interesting way to work in the real world suspension to the storyline, though if they don't have this planned out in advance it could end up being a convoluted mess. There is some good potential there, though.

What a sight. A mini sin cara and the imposter that is 50 pounds heavier and 6 inches taller. Should be a funny visual tho the imposter makes fewer mistakes. Call one syn and the other sin and put em on seperate shows.

when I watched smackdown this week, I was actually thinking a Sin Cara vs Sin Cara angle would be a good one.
I'm actually excited to see this.

actually, Glenn Jacobs will be playing the role of Sin Cara and will be the only person to successfully double as 3 different wrestlers in WWE history.

Two things:
1) I'd pay to watch Kane do flips around the ring in the Sin Cara mask. They could call it Sin Cara and Sin Caracito.
2) Idk if you can count "fake Diesel" as "successful".

this comments board is like an episode of seinfeld. lots on in jokes celebrated by the rest of the ppl in on it :)

And the reason he flipped off HHH is because if you see in the vid after Randy ahskes hands w/ 2 kids you can see HHH in the background and he stickd out his hand for Randy to slap.
Randy thought it was just a fan as he wsnt really looking that way and then just before he gets to the curtain he sees HHH and realized it was him joking w/ him and then Randy laughs and flips him the bird.

Does anyone outside of the IWC (and Mexico) really give two shits about Sin Cara? Cause I don't.
Cosnidering that he doesn't talk (in English), I don't see how good that could possibly work out.

2. Fake Diesel
3. Kane

I assume the major character that they aren't announcing now is probably Chris Jericho. Everyone knows he's coming back shortly, and they probably want him in the game, but want to hold off on announcing him or making him unlocked or downloadable until he actually rejoins WWE, which is why he'll be announced "in the future."
Posted By: Guest#7659 (Guest) on August 14, 2011 at 12:22 AM
I'm calling Mick Foley as the secret character
Posted By: The Mysterious WankerX (Guest) on August 14, 2011 at 12:28 AM
K2 probably let him bang her too, so he's on the K2 bandwagon.
I hope Sin Cara vs Sin Cara II will be like Tiger Mask vs Tiger Mask II.

Orton knows he's the de facto #2 guy in the company behind Cena. He can say whatever he wants and gets into very little trouble.
Cena is the #1 guy, but he is so reluctant to use any stroke he might have. If he couldn't get Samoa Joe hired, no one can.

Has there ever been a good [Wrestler] vs Fake [Wrestler] feud?

The major character is... THE SHOCKMASTER!
Posted By: DrunkMRC (Guest) on August 14, 2011 at 05:23 AM
Joe Hennig is a useless waste of roster space and it doesn't matter what name he goes under. Just because you have a legendary father doesn't mean you're good enough for the WWE. He sucks in every way and he brings nothing to the table. I switch the channel everytime the tool is on my TV. No charisma, no mic skills, goofy looking, no crowd reaction.
Posted By: Guest#2891 (Guest) on August 14, 2011 at 06:01 AM
Randy Orton is a toolshed.

That's less about the name and more about Joe being a lumbering douche who isn't fit to lace his dead father's boots.

I'm seeing double! Four Sin Caras!

Posted By: That guy (Guest) on August 14, 2011 at 12:53 PM
I understand him being irritated at not letting Joe, or any of the recent next generation guys use their names, for that matter.
When the WWE was pushing Legacy, they wouldn't shut up about them being second/third generation wrestlers.

Actually, I think calling the untalented, marble mouthed heat vacuum known as Joe Hennig "Michael McGillicutty" IS preserving Curt's legacy. Spitting on Curt's grave would be to acknowledge that this walking DUD is his offspring.
