WWE News: Raw Tonight, Edge on Haven, Stock Drop, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 08.22.2011
Some WWE news…
- WWE Monday Night Raw takes place tonight in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
- Christian noted yesterday that he landed in Calgary (where Smackdown will tape this week) and that he was going to have lunch with Lance Storm.
- During the stock market fall last week, the WWE stock hit a 52 week low of $8.75 during the day Friday. It ended up closing at $8.82.
- Haven's Lloyd Segan talks about how be decided to give Edge a role on the show at this link.
- As of now, only the top managers in the company know what is going on with the WWE Corporate website situation. Some have noted that, "things are getting weird there" as communication throughout the building is not what it once was. There were some people in the company that had no idea that the corporate website was redirecting to WWE.com.
- Here is another video of CM Punk's interview from Las Vegas, which kicked off the angle that led into the Money in the Bank PPV…

Too bad that angle's over now. Like someone else posted the other day, it's all about the McMahons and Trips and Nash now and who sent the text...

- House shows cancelled.
- Corporate Website closed.
- Stock Price plummeting.
- Board members leaving in droves.
- "The hottest angle in years" becoming a big time bust.
- Ratings more then half of what they were during their best period.
WWE is DYING! The sooner the better.

-----------------------------------------
I've worked for a corporation for over 12 years and I can tell you one of the worst things a corporation can do is keep secrets and not communicate freely with it's employees. It just leads to paranoia and descension in the ranks. Plus, if the leaders are not sharing their vision for the direction the company should be going in, how are you supposed to follow it?

You've worked for a corporation for over 12 years without knowing how to spell "dissension"? No wonder the Chinee are taking over.

Not only that, but ALL corporations do not openly communicate their plans with their low-level employees. And it's low-level employess that would be talking to internet wrestling "reporters". Kind of answers itself, doesn't it?

My bad dawg (which is actually spelled dog, I know, but i'm using a slang term of it, so I hope you will pardon my parents for raising such a thug). I guess you have never misspelled anything in your life? And what exactly did your post contribute to the topic? Why don't you try worrying about yourself?
As for the other guy who said low-level employees would not be involved in plans...while I find that to be debatable -- again, how are they supposed to carry out the corporate plan, if they don't know what that plan is -- we are talking about people in the wwe headquarters being kept in the dark...headquarter employees are hardly low-level. Low level would be your wresters, road-agents, ring crew, etc.

Yeah stock has been plummeting. With all the business weirdness, I wonder if it's time to fret...
And oh, Christian is meeting with Stornm! what a newsworthy event!

ok...lets review...
- House shows cancelled -- as has tna
- Corporate Website closed.-- non-existant in tna.
- Stock Price plummeting.-- cant imagine tna has stock prices.
- Board members leaving in droves.--does tna have any??
- "The hottest angle in years" becoming a big time bust.--1 angle where tna just has all their angles "disappear into thin air" and also none were worth a shit.
- Ratings more then half of what they were during their best period.-- and tna pulls barely over a 1.0 rating.
your rants, bitches, complaints and comments have no merit here. these are not the droids your looking for. I'm sorry, we are closed. You sir are an idiotic asshole. Please tell your boyfriend to stop calling me, i am not gay. and last....clean the sperm off your face, Hogan wants seconds.

They'll know when they need to know. If there is a corporate shake-up going on, then they likely don't yet know how things will play out, so they're not going to tell the staff until they know what the plan is. That's why everyone is "in the dark" right now.
Although, this is the wrestling industry. Who really knows.
