Tons of news…
- Jeff Hardy was not supposed to announce his return for tonight's TNA Impact tapings. When he did, TNA then made the formal announcement. His return was supposed to be a surprise.
- Jeff Hardy will appear in court again on September 8th, which is a Thursday.
- Internal expectations are that there will be about 2,000 fans in attendance at tonight's tapings.
- There is currently a pre-sale ongoing for the October 1st Hulk Hogan "Back from the Brink" speaking tour, which takes place in Jacksonville, FL. The pre-sale is through Ticketmaster, and the pre-sale code is HULK.
- Eric Bischoff and his partner Jason Hervey are working with Jeremy Piven on a new reality show titled Blow.The show will follow New Orleans glassblower Josh Cohen.
- ESPN has an interview up with celebrity chef Robert Irvine where he talks marrying Gail Kim. You can read that here.
- From Josh Costilow: Mick Foley will be doing his Stand Up Comedy act on 10/1 after the Dreamwave Wrestling show at the 9th St. Pub in LaSalle, IL. More information is available here.
- From Steven Fernandez: Lance Storm's new self-published book 'Storm Warning (Tales from Stormwrestling.com)', a collection of his earlier commentaries from his website, is now available through Amazon for the Kindle. You can check that out here.

Jeff did that to get people talking about him instead of his brother. It ruins a surprise at a stupid Impact taping or some ppv or whatever, but who cares. It's a brotherly thing to do.

On one hand, I think "good job, Jeff!" on ruining a suprise. On the other hand, I know one of the best ways to get ratings is to advertise. I'm torn.

Lance Storm says that WWE is great, and it was an honor to be misused by them. WCW, which gave him his biggest push was stupid, and Impact sucks. Oh, and Paul Heyman's a genius, even if all his ECW paychecks bounced. There, now you don't have to spend any money on the book.

I don't click links that have any Hardy news attached to them, but when you see the title "Various News: Jeff Hardy’s Return & Next Court Date" the jokes just write themselves. I mean TNA is taking a known drug ABUSER in with a court date? Does anyone really think they will still be in business a year from now.
