Funny that TNA is mad at Angle but they accept Hardy with open arms even when he's still in court.

I know my "defending" of Kurt yesterday may have been controversial. But honestly ask yourselves if you've NEVER been in any part of that scenario before.
For arguments sake, you go out to a relative's house for Thanksgiving, you eat dinner, you down a glass of wine, you're not stone drunk, but you're alcohol level is elevated. I would say that most of you would still drive home. Maybe I'm wrong.
Or...you're driving to a relative's house out of state. You're not too familiar with the roads and its getting dark. Let's say you're GPS gives you a direction that isn't quite clear. This actually happens a lot when I drive into NJ using the George Washington Bridge from NY. So you slow down, start to make a turn into a certain lane to follow a certain highway or exit and it turns out its the wrong one so you try to turn out of it. To others on the road, you may appear to be driving erratically.
Now I don't know if Kurt was on any other substances and frankly neither does anyone else in this comment section. I don't need to be defending Kurt right now, but I don't think his story is all that far fetched. Am I defending drunk driving, NO. But I also don't think it's as simple as black and white. Realistically, we all make judgement calls when it comes to driving after consuming alcohol. And judging from the breathalizer results, Kurt was probably under the impression that he was fit enough to handle a vehicle after whatever amount of alcohol he consumed. It's a judgement call and his result came back that he was legally fit to drive. Forgive me if I'm not jumping on the bandwagon to crucify Kurt here.
Posted By: bighustle (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 11:24 AM
I will say this though, I agree with Eric Bischoff in that anyone with a reputation of being in this situation as a professional athlete and a representative of an organization should be smarter about not getting themselves into this scenario. The last time this happened I questioned why Kurt was in the situation by himself. As a wrestler I imagine it isn't uncommon to go to the bar after a house show. But why isn't there an unofficial system where some of the boys ride together and a designated driver makes sure everyone makes it back to the hotel in one piece? Any smart organization at this point would at least have a seminar about this sorta thing. It happens in every locker room of every major pro sport. I'm pretty sure WWE does something similar to it and I feel at this point it's STRONGLY needed in TNA.

Jeff Hardy back on tv is a good thing!

Posted By: VI (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 11:40 AM
The officer's side of the story says Angle was driving down the center line on the highway and his initial blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
Flush my previous comments down the toilet.

Posted By: Guest#5843 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 11:59 AM
It's actually really simple, bighustle, if you are going to drive, don't have the drink. I've been doing it for the 16 years I have been a licensed driver, and never once has it been any kind of problem for me. It's really is that fucking easy.

How much does TNA pay people to come in here and talk about being excited for Jeff Hardy's return and saying TNA is the #1 promotion?
Posted By: Chico (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 12:23 PM
Jeff deserves to be fired just like Matt was
Posted By: Bill (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 11:01 AM
Im not defending Jeff's behaviour, or proclaiming his "guilt or innocence". However, YOU "Bill" really have NO right to say he "DESERVES" to be fired. The only ones that DO have that right are HIS EMPLOYERS. THEY have chosen to give him another chance, its THEIR company that they are putting on the line. If you dont agree with the decision, dont watch the show, dont buy their products, dont show any support for TNA in any way.
Posted By: CottonMouthWolf (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 12:41 PM
They should teach Kurt a lesson and have him drop the belt to Roode at BFG.
Posted By: JR (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 12:43 PM
Angle and Jeff hardy are both intoxicated losers.
Posted By: Guest#0080 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:01 PM
WWE. Used to be WCW before Russo and Bischoff ruined it.
Posted By: Chico (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 12:26 PM

What kind of company hires a loser who is on trial for being a loser? A company run by a skirt with no brain!
Posted By: Guest#9250 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:08 PM
I object to the moral depravity of TNA allowing Jeff Hardy to appear on TV and will not watch their programming anymore.
Posted By: Guest#9539 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:09 PM
Jeff Hardy? Name sounds familar. Didn't he used to wrestle?
Posted By: Guest#0151 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:09 PM
So, is Jeff's return also going to last about sixty-seconds?
Posted By: Guest#9651 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:10 PM
TNA should revert back to hiring 'reality stars', it'd be more interesting that this drug addicted loser!
Posted By: Guest#3353 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:11 PM
I'm sure the TNA locker room will be excited to see Jeff back, they've been going without their biker-crank for a while now.
Posted By: Guest#9701 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:12 PM
TNA could wheel out Jeff Hardy, managed by Miley Cyrus in a thong, wrestling against Peyton Manning, with the ghost of Johnny Carson as special guest referee... and still only manage a 1.3 rating.
Posted By: Guest#6454 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:14 PM
I would rather play Frogger extreme than watch Jeff Hardy wrestle! Boo TNA! Hiss!

since when was TNA impact wrestling the number one promotion? they aren't. and to the troll, we know all those people is just you trolling. but we also know that your company sucks.

I'm disappointed with Bischoff and his clique buddie Hogan, and whilst I'm at it I was also disappointed with the dreadful dregs of wrestling they brought with them(Nasty Boys, Bubba the Love Sponge, Sean Morley, the Band and Mr Anderson). I'm also dissappointed that Hulk Hogan and Bischoff, after bring in a bunch iof crap that got released, failed to increase the ratings - but they both still have their jobs. Just sayin.
Posted By: Just Sayin (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:33 PM
Bischoff is disapointed by Angle but not by Jeff?
Posted By: Guest#5847 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:37 PM
TNA = way better than WWE, which is nothing more than attempted entertainment, but truly crap. The only thing they got is knowing how to make good story promos. After that, they're repetitive, predictable, softcore, lame, too PG and the atmosphere is generally and usually so damn boring.
In TNA, Wrestling Matters. You got wrestling legends, a solid roster, great athletic wrestling, epic atmospheres for certain shows, vibrant divisions such as Knockouts, Tag Team and X Division. It just all around blows the garbage of the WWE away.
Posted By: Wrestling Matters (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:21 PM
What are you smoking? eric and russo ruined TNA like they ruined WCW.

"I know my "defending" of Kurt yesterday may have been controversial. But honestly ask yourselves if you've NEVER been in any part of that scenario before. "
Yup, I'm teetotal. So I'm never been in any part of that scenario before. Kurt's an idiot.

In TNA, Wrestling Matters. You got pensioners, a passable mid-card, great occasional spots, idiotic fans at almost every show, once vibrant divisions such as Knockouts, Tag Team and X Division. It just all around blows the shlong of the WWE.

fixed that for you

Also, if I have a drink, even just one, I'd rather take a taxi home than put other people's lives at risk by driving. Sure, one drink might not have that big of an effect, but ultimately, every single time you get behind the wheel of a car you're in control of a lethal weapon.

Oh my WOW, Jeff Hardy is back. So its cool to bring back half addled crack heads and then hope they bust themselves on live TV. Ya TNA fans should be wondering what kind of Hardy they are getting.
Posted By: DXMAN (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 03:36 PM
so TNA will probably get an 0.85 this week with the return of Jeff hardy and Hogan n Sting n Angle n Mr Anderson n RVD n Bischoff n Jarrett...Im sure this is what Spike TV has been looking for

I also heard that the UN is preparing a resoultion to address your commnent.
You are now the most controversial person in human history, and I hope that you are prepared for the consequences.

Man, when even Bisch is secobd-guessing Kurt and TNA's policies, you know it's bad.
Jeff needs to be fired or put on suspension to get his shit together or at least to not make the company look bad. He'll totally blow his oppurtunity, ala Matt, mark my words. He's disappointed us far too much for me to believe anything from him.
Posted By: Guest#7672 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 06:19 PM
Yeah I'll be watching for Hardy too. What I mark for Jeff Hardy. I really hope he can keep it together this time.
