Triple H’s Inside Out Gets First Poor Review
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.07.2011
Not good…
- Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel has reviewed the Triple H film Inside Out, and well, it isn't good. He rated the film one star, and did not exactly have high praise for Triple H, or the film's screenwriter…
On Triple H: And they refuse to abandon their efforts to turn one of their stars into the next Rock or Hulk Hogan, a crossover phenomenon about to carry movies and TV shows, and not just other wrestlers and folding chairs. Paul "Triple H" Levesque has the look, the demeanor and the skills to be a useful heavy in other people's action films. He's so muscle-bound, his arms can't quite drop to his side. His face is more scary than handsome. Yet "Inside Out" is yet another attempt to make him a leading man.
On Screenwriter Dylan Schaffer: Lawyer-turned-screenwriter Dylan Schaffer's script is an unhappy combination of genres, tones, too many dead stretches of people in cars and inept dialogue.
The knock on triple H is this: His face. He has a big head, big nose and too muscular of a face. He does not resemble matt damon, Ben Affleck or Leonardo Dicaprio. Hollywood likes their leadning men to look toyugh but too caveman like.

You want real news? How about you mention the first GOOD review the film gets. It'll be a long wait.

HHH should be in action films. I'm thinking like a "Walking Tall"-like film. Comedies and drama pieces don't fit him.

Agreed.
I think if a non-WWE movie producer came to WWE for a potential leading man, they would probably pick McIntyre. Great physique (by Hollywood standards) and balanced facial features.

I still REALLY wish HHH had the breakout movie career and Rock has stuck around, WWE would have two less older guys with egos crushing the actual wrestlers

wtf u expect from these WWE original films.. all of them are made to make wwe stars as leading actors..

Wait I got it... He can play a guy that gets out of prison and...

Guys with steroid face arent gonna sell movie tickets...they should make a movie Amazing Red or Jinder Mahal

Dont believe this review...This reviewer writes for a paper in Orlando,so its obvious that Dixie Carter and her henchmen either threatned or paid this guy off to give a poor review and make HHH look bad. Stop bitching about the acting in this movie and just give your $3.50 to buy a ticket and support HHH

And you can do a better job acting?? there was scene where it looked like HHH was gonnna cry then throw up...ALL in one scene. How many actors could do that?
Posted By: Jose (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 01:23 PM
Too bad McIntyre has no discernible personality then, 7510.

Goddamn, you know you're fucked when even James Bond doesn't like your movie.

So is anyone surprised by this? The silver lining is that when it comes out on DVD it will be all rented out. At least at my store, the only video rental store known to man that is left.

What does the reviewer know about good acting? All he could do is raise an eyebrow and now the rock owns that.

I really hope I live to see the day the WWE films division is put to pasture forever.

"Yet "Inside Out" is yet another attempt to make him a leading man."
No, it's not. WWE isn't expecting these movies to be nominated for Oscars or anything. They do them because they make millions of dollars off of them in DVD sales. I think The Condemned with Stone Cold is the only WWE film so far that didn't recoup it's budget and actually lost money.

No more horrible movies, WWE. Just stop!
Everyone, go watch Warrior! Let's go Angle!

Is anyone really surprised?

Come on, did you expect anything less? Watch the trailer, it looks like complete ass.

The reviewer is just bitter 'cause no one liked him as James Bond.
Posted By: True Dat (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 04:05 PM
Uh, did they really think he was gonna get good reviews????

The knock on HHH really isn't that bad:
The dude is pretty much saying HHH could be useful in other studios' action movies. Nothing wrong with that.
Posted By: Tequila (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 05:18 PM
Sorry HHH, you can book yourself to win the title as many times as you want. When you leave the protective bubble of WWE, the truth always comes out - you're an overpushed midcarder and nobody likes you.

Ha! Are you surprised this movie received a poor review? Seriously........
Posted By: TK03000 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 05:58 PM
WWe needs top learn they paddl eout tired cliches. Much like their product. And HHH does have charisma but his look suits the wrestling world, not acting.
Posted By: Guest#9332 (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 06:21 PM
HHH would be great in a bit part as some biker gang leader's muscle. But he can make *far* more money wrestling, so what would be the point? Ego alone?
Posted By: Joe Schmoe (Guest) on September 07, 2011 at 10:23 PM
Screw you "Roger Moore" You're judging HHH's face? Really? What do you think this is, the hunt for the next PlayGirl cover-model? Face it, HHH is a bad ass and has suprisingly good acting chops as well. Put him in a decent movie and he'll excel. Knock it off with the faggy judgementalism.

Actually that was meant to be an outtake. HHH had a flashback to Chyna in the bedroom and had to be sedated.

Maybe HHH should take a different type of role next time. I'm thinking a con recently released from prison with a new lease on life.

Wow I can see you do your homework. Everyone knows all of HHH's movies go straight the DVD, and should go straight to VHS. If you paid $3.50 for a ticket to watch, that says alot about you sitting in an empty theater.
