Notes on Jeff Hardy's Plea Deal and Kurt Angle's Arrest
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 09.08.2011
Some TNA true crime news...
- Because Jeff Hardy has three felonies on his record now, he may not be able to get into all countries or get a working Visa. R-Truth has had this problem because of his felony, and that one was over twenty years ago. WWE has passed on hiring people for having felonies before, though none of them had Jeff's name value.
- Kurt Angle's 0.091 blood alcohol test done at the scene of his arrest on Saturday will not be admissable in court. However, he did fail field sobriety tests and he could get a DUI for being unable to pass those tests even if the BAC was below the limit.
Field sobriety tests were designed to make you fail. I doubt most sober men having just worked a full TNA wrestling show, driving at 3am would be able to pass their tests.

K.. to be clear... one can be intoxicated by drugs (prescription and otherwise).. which are unrelated to breathalyzer results. Simple.. doesnt really warrant a conspiracy theory or lengthy defence.

God, I hope no more wrestlers get pulled over for DUIs. Reading about these DUIs in headlines is both nauseating and frustrating. Kurt is really running with this unfortunately. How much longer is he going to drag this out?

One more chance!

In their defense, any of us would probably have a substance abuse problem if we worked for TNA.

wwe is not going to rehire jeff hardy. he is a fleon now plus he is getting older and he is a "headcase" like angle, matt hardy etc.
wwe is the big time company and wwe does not need these losers anymore when they can hire a young guy who will love to work for wwe and follow wwe's policies to the letter out of fear for his job.

Hell, most people can't do field sobriety tests sober. Good luck getting that to hold up in court.

From here on out, any TNA sycophant deploring how great that company truly is will no longer have their opinions listened to until TNA Executives fire both Jeff and Kurt for their heinous actions. Especially Kurt Angle, that man takes what he has for granted and what has been an on going battle for years on end now. Angle no longer has my respect and is just another drunk on the road trying to use his fame as a ticket out of this mess.

Good going, TNA. Jeff has ucked himself over. WWe probably won't touch him now. Angle is in the shitcan. Just admit it dude.

This is what we call a TNA 2'fer. Two douchebag drug addicts in one week. I'm surprised the Iron Sheik isn't on the TNA roster.

Let this be a lesson for you future drug dealers. You can actually send drugs from Florida through UPS and they will turn in the person receiving them. Get your cash up front and happy dealing. Seriously, why wasn't the dick who sent them charged also?

Wait how can that test not be used?
Posted By: Iceberg (Guest) on September 08, 2011 at 07:45 PM
And the funny thing, these are 2 of their top guys! hahahaha. 3 felonies and he is a main eventer, tons of merch, dvd's. Wow Dixie, way to show the rest of the talent that a guy can keep breaking the law and get pushed! She is so out of her league being in this business. This is why Vince is king

only three felonies...dosent Crimson have two that we know of and Gunner was kicked out of the army for raping an Iraqi girl

Those combined tests only show an 80% likelihood of being over .08, according to the State's own manual. Not to mention that those tests are designed to trick you. Most people don't realize that and what the flags actually are. These tests are unfair and you don't have to take them. Most of the time the cop won't tell you that you have a right to refuse. Also people should note that in this country it is LEGAL for a cop to lie to you, but if you lie to a cop, its obstructing or falsification. So be careful what you say. That being said, reasonable doubt is a standard much higher than 80% because in this country, we don't take away people's liberty when we're only 80% sure.
With a .06 test, there is no doubt that he will either win at trial or he plea to reasonable control or some low point offense.

Look up Virginia Law. Their law claims that handheld BAC is inadmissible in court because it could give out false positives as you have to wait two hours after consuming alcohol to get an accurate reading. The handheld test only works to arrest the person involved so they can go to the police station to get the more accurate test done.

jeff back at WWE. Hahahahaha no matter how much he sucks Vince's dick. TNA you can keep him, the Big E don't need amateurs.

Here's where I call BS on his Conspiracy Theory: "Kurt Angle's 0.091 blood alcohol test done at the scene of his arrest."
So, while even if it later turned out that his BAC was .06 weren't the police officers correct to arrest him AT THAT TIME? Even if the charges they end up dropping the charges after the fact because he was not legally drunk, wouldn't it have been negligent of them to release him at that moment, based on their hand-held device and field sobriety tests??

Field sobriety tests are simple, hard to fail tests because they are based on neurological tasks that ANYONE can do.
If Angle has the kind of injuries that would make it impossible to pass a field test when he is sober, then he wouldn't have a medical clearance to drive at all, and certianly shouldn't be in any kind of contact sport like wrestling.
Unless, of course, you are one of those dipshit paranoids who think that the government is targeting people who break the law unfairly.

I'm not saying whether I think Kurt was on something or not, but I have to agree with you. Nothing like a cop shining a light in your eyes while having you stand on one leg on the side of a ditch.

The Wrestling Observer plagiarized my comment from Tuesday in response to the original article about the "0.091" reading.
411mania readers who read my comment knew this information on Tuesday.

One of the tests Kurt failed was saying part of the alphabet (D-to-P or something like that). I mean, if you can do the upon request because you are impaired, you have no right to be driving a car.
And by impaired I mean, drugs, booze or injury.

OK, seriously; who are the people who can't do simple field tests sober? Because not only do they deserve to be banned from driving period but they apparently suffered some crippling brain injury all while snacking on paint chips in their home that was built under power lines. If you're seriously that stupid I have no hope for you. Quit trying to make yourself out like poor victims whenever a cop is forced to his damn job just because you decided to be a douchebag.

Jeff Hardy has name value?

I couldn't pass a field sobriety test and I've been drug and alcohol free for years.

TNA is the Oakland Raiders/Miami Hurricanes of Pro-wrestling.
