Edge Honored After Smackdown Taping
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 09.14.2011
See who showed up...
- After WWE's Smackdown taping was done, Edge was brought back into the ring with Trish Stratus and a video on his career was played. Christian came out and put Edge over, saying they were like brothers. Rhino, Bret Hart and Edge's original trainer Ron Hutchison also came out. The whole thing was filmed and is likely to be on WWE.com after Smackdown airs.

It was nice that they did it after the taping was over so the fans were not forced to stay and watch that crap.

"Who? Who? Who? and Who?
Posted By: Jimbo Slice (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 12:24 AM"
No, Jim Neidhart wasn't there at all, let alone four separate iterations of Jim Neidhart.

This was a nice classy send off for edge. It saved the fans from what wad a night of total garbage wwe programing.

I was there, the tribute lasted almost an hour. It was well done. Edge legit cried when they brought out his mom. The crowd had a thank you mom chant going

Wow Spencer you disrespectful piece of shit! A man, and gifted wrestler/entertainer is forced to retire and they give him a homecoming of sorts and you rip on him. I hope something terrible happens to you so I'm not forced to read you pieces of crap you consistantly turn out!

And yet you checked up on this just like a sheep. Spencer, and I thought you didn't care about Edge, god bless you. HAHA. Yet he will never get caught drinking and driving.

I wonder if any of those fans knew who Trish was. Going by the reaction to her last few appearances, probably not.
Posted By: Guest#3907 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 01:01 AM
Classy. Very classy move by WWE.
Posted By: TK03000 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 01:13 AM
and yet again the tna fucktards come out in droves to bash WWE and Edge in a WWE post. stupid fucking trolls, but then again what do you expect from worthless tna fans.
Posted By: Spencer Mallard hater (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 01:46 AM
You are so right Spencer. Hopefully one day we can sit together at an Impact taping and watch AJ Styles appreciation night. me, you, and the 198 other TNA fans WHOOO!
People wouldn't want you to die so badly if you weren't such a useless fucking tool.
Posted By: mencer spallard (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 02:16 AM
I was there. It wasn't really Edge, it was Glen Jacobs dressed as Edge.

Gore vs Spear

Rhino the guy that publicly trashed wwe when he was with tna and threw the ecw belt in a bin and set it on fire? CLASSY!
Posted By: WTF! (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 04:40 AM
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Can we just move on?
How come this hack has to have a column or two about him everyday?
Posted By: Guest#2548 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 05:12 AM
wait the freakin man beast Rhino was there. More interesting than Edge- GORE! Gore! Gore! OMG!
Posted By: Mr Telling It Like It Is (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 05:12 AM
this is really too much. edge should have left with his head between his legs and not show up for a very long time. people are generally forgiving but for him to show up this way is just a slap in the face to all wrestling fans.
Posted By: Vic Tomato (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 05:25 AM
Didn't they already do this? So are they going to do this every 6-12mths for a sad pop? It's obvious that it's still hard on him not being able to wrestle. Leave him be.

Gore!
Posted By: r9 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 06:09 AM
the IWC has a lot of A holes running their mouth. WWE is great. you haters suck.
Posted By: Guest#1262 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 06:16 AM
Sting will never get this type of honor. TNA ruined Stings career with the stupid Joker gimmick...
Posted By: Guest#0284 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 06:17 AM
Edge is the Tupac of the WWE, he just wont go away.
Posted By: Moonajuana (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 06:47 AM
Once again, the IWC never fails to crack me up. Thanks for the early laughs today!!!
Posted By: Sarge (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 07:08 AM
It was very well done. The majority of fans stayed, which was nice. Some genuine moments, you could tell Edge was moved. And Sweet Daddy Siki! Amazing to see him.

Don't you mean TNA fan? See you had it plural, and there is no way there are multiple TNA fans anywhere

Who? Who? Who? and Who?
Posted By: Jimbo Slice (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 12:24 AM
This is getting tiresome. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I don't need or want imitators. Go away you fucktard! You are not ME!

he was not "Forced" to retire, he decided to "Quit" but not before his last payday for Wrestlemania or refusing to job to Del Rio.
of course im sure everyone really believes he did not find out about his injury until the next day after mania. yeah, i buy that. fucking scum.

Rhino? Damn. I would've loved it if Rhyno showed up instead.
Posted By: Alan (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:05 AM
I think some of you guys need to lay off of Edge. From what I understand sand in your pussy is very irritating.
Posted By: Guest#8579 (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:07 AM
Didn't they already have a tribute?
Posted By: prostez (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:11 AM
How come no one ever gets upset when Ron Simmons shows up?
Posted By: Syntax (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:23 AM
This happened after Smackdown, so this is definitely a bonus to all the people that was there. It's makes perfect sense since it was the Air Canada Centre and not some state Edge is currently residing. It was at home. I would of watch that than 90% of the crap TNA spews out and a lot of the stuff WWE has on now.
People like Spencer Mallard write stupid shit just to get a rise out of the comments. There is always a few Spencer Mallard comments after ever column or news. It's the only way these people can get the attention they so need since all they do is hang around wrestling website, critiquing wrestling films, chatting at wrestling forums all day.
Posted By: 5 Second Pose (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:23 AM
I think they wanted to hold something in Toronto, where so many of the people who are important to him still live. The bits with his mom were very sweet. He actually said he considered this his proper retirement, and now he's done.
And hell, it was worth it for one last five second pose. Nice bow out for one of the greatest wrestlers of the last decade.
Posted By: Canucklehead (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:26 AM
Funny how a TNA fan can take a jab at the WWE and the WWE fanboys threw their usual sissy fit about it while you idiots do the same to TNA articles ALL the time.
Pot, meet kettle... Kettle, meet pot.

Christian came out and put Edge over
Well of course he did. You would not expect edge to put christian over would you?

He wasn't forced to reitre. He QUIT so he wouldn't have to drop the titel to alberto. No one forces you to read what I write.
Posted By: Spencer Mallard (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 01:32 PM
I didnt know Rhino was allowed to come to a WWE event.

If Edge wanted to retire on top, then he had every right. Del Rio, imo, had no earned the right to win at WM yet.
BTW, what does "reitre" and "titel" mean?
Posted By: WetOREO (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 04:02 PM
Didn't they already have a tribute?
Posted By: prostez (Guest) on September 14, 2011 at 10:11 AM
EXACTLY! What the hell was the point of this second one?! Does this mean he's gone permanently or is he going to come back like last time and therefore render this thing totally pointless once again?! Fucking stupid.

Mallard, you're a tard. Edge got to stand next to Trish Stratus, the hottest piece of wrestling ass ever. His hour next to Trish >>>>>>>>> Spencer Mallard's pathetic little TNA-worshipping life.
