WWE is the largest pro wrestling company in the world. They have a hand in every walk of pop culture, and are constantly out performing every other wrestling promotion out there. so if WWE is ever going down, than other companies will go down first. cause without the WWE, there is no wrestling business. and i doubt WWE is going away......

UFC does need to evolve. It won't always be as popular as it is if it stays the same. Just like wwe always evolves and changes. WWE is evolving right now, giving CM Punk this big push, among other things. Next year wwe will have the wwe network, they are producing movies. They are touring overseas. How are they not evolving?

I do believe that the lulz are because the UFC is evolving at a much higher pace than the WWE. Getting a network deal on FOX for seven years I am pretty sure is a huge evolution for the sport, but whatever.

If Punk is making comments like this to actually gain a larger PAYING fanbase or if WWE has told him to go out and insult the company and its leadership from every angle to get his character and angle over in an attempt to see how social media really impacts the business and the bottom line...then more power to him.(them)
However, if he is doing it to "stay cool" with his fans, then he is just one of the bitter twitterbots that can only find happiness complaining that they know how to do their job better than their bosses. Keep in mind that the people he is catering to are the same group of people that regularly post that they don't buy his PPV's and don't watch his shows because they "Hate WWE or Cena or H or whoever." Additionally his comment that WWE doesn't have the capacity to "evolve" is completely negated by the fact that he even has a job there.
Basically in character or not....don't shit where you eat.
