Posted by Larry Csonka on 10.13.2011
He’s free…
- Jeff Hardy turned himself in on October 3rd to serve his 10-day jail sentence, which was part of a plea agreement stemming from 2009 drug charges in North Carolina. Hardy is now free, completing the stay and Tweeting "HailFreedom!" this morning.
He and Tyson Tomko are gonna be your new TNA Tag Team champions. Wait and see.

Hopefully Jeff Hardy is healthy and retuns back to the WWE with vigor and energy.

How much in money did those years of appeals and delays cost tax payers? Fucking junkie should have just done owned up, paid the consequences and got it over with.

Wants him to return to the WWE and feud with CM Punk again. This time Punk'll be way more over with the crowd which'll give the feud another edge.

Stay clean Jeff.

Two things, douchebag.
1. Humans make mistakes, and to judge him when you don't know him makes you an asshole. I can't wait until something terrible happens to you.
2. If you had money and and a degree of stardom when your life goes to hell, you'd try to get off the hook too. Who in the fuck EVER says "give me the full punishment as outlined by law"? You'd have to be an idiot to do that...which you obviously are.

I hope he goes back 2the wwe the feud with punk, orton & the miz would be....awesome. DAMN

No, he's nowhere near being free. He's on probation for 2 and a half years - he screws up even once and he's imprisoned for whatever remains of that 2.5.
Posted By: The Ogre (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 12:45 PM
I would hope he does like Matt did, and go the the WWE Rehab program.

After that brutal 10 days our hero is free.... that sentence was far too long and harsh !
Posted By: Guest#2350 (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 01:00 PM
I give him 2-3 months and he will be back in.
Posted By: Guest#5404 (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 01:14 PM
I wonder if they'll return the drugs he had on himself when he started his sentence.
Posted By: Alan (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 01:54 PM
Good he's out, TNA is going to need him to be one of the 19 guys who interfere in the Hogan vs Sting match at BFG
Posted By: Lonestarr022 (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 02:25 PM
I hope this opened his eyes and he can keep a clean life. I want to know why his kid was allowed around him? anyone else would have lost that right. Anyway, I hope he stays clean even though I cant stand him .

where was the child endangerment charge? He was storing drugs for distribution and use in his home that a child was in? the child should have been put in a home.

Well said, but to what point? Any normal person wouldn't be given the time of day to request an appeal, let alone multiple appeals. The issue isn't that Jeff Hardy got off relatively easy, but that we expect him to desire and get it. No one, in the midst of committing a crime, says to themselves that they hope they get punished to the full extent of the law. But when it comes time to go to trial for that crime, and the evidence is fairly apparent, they SHOULD be punished to the fullest extent of the law. His fame should have nothing to do with his sentencing, and the fact that people can pay the right lawyer and find the right loopholes on their way to freedom from a crime that would land a normal man in jail is disgusting.
It isn't like Jeff Hardy had nowhere to turn in his time of need. WWE has their wellness program, and Jeff got away from it because he didn't want to change his habits. TNA doesn't have that system in place and it cost them for signing Jeff. He made his mistakes, but it is his fault for not seeking help, but rather looking for the easy way out.

1. Humans make mistakes...
It's the same mistakes, over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.. The 'he made a mistake' card is so played out!

It still wont be worth watching. This is the worst BFG main event ever, in fact I'd rather watch the Victory Road main event again.

Jeff has 2 years left with TNA I believe he'll be clean and work his best for the next 2 years and take a very long vacation doubt he'll be back in the WWE anytime soon if at all.

His Daughter was born over a year after he was arrested.
Posted By: yabrokehomie (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 05:37 PM
Good for him. Hopefully he's learned his lesson and now maybe he can stay out of trouble.
Posted By: TK0300 (Guest) on October 13, 2011 at 06:45 PM
Jeff Hardy has made more chances to get clean than Lindsay Lohan. He is nothing more than a glorified drug addict, that will done nothing more than relapse.
