Triple H Says He Questioned the Katie Vick Angle

The one time he's done so...
- Triple H was doing a radio interview this morning and when asked if he ever questioned a storyline, he noted that the one time he said "What are we doing?" was the Katie Vick angle with Kane.
He also noted that at this point in his career, he sometimes just wants to entertain himself. "There have been times where I'll say something get crickets from the crowd but I got Shawn to crack so it was worth it," he noted.

I remember an interview with Vince on Byte This a few years ago, and Vince basically said he came up with the idea and thought it was hilarious, but everyone else hated it so he had to pull the plug.

I wonder if he and Shawn cracked up at all of the stupid shit they did as DX a few years ago, like calling Vince a "master debater" in one segment, that shitty birthday party they threw for Vince with Cirque du Soliel members, and that dumb crap where Vince got a shipment of roosters because he likes cock. Jesus Christ that was horrible.

"PG" has nothing to do with this era's atrociousness, Guest#5233.
"PG" eras have given us Hogan, Savage, Roberts, Warrior, Rude, Four Horseman, Dusty Rhodes, Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Demolition, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels...the list goes on and on and on.
This era has given us...Randy Orton, John Cena and the man whose momentum is currently dwindling back down to nothingness...CM Punk. Not one of those guys is enough of a reason for me to sit through the rest of that shitty show or even just the atrocious theme music. Garbage.
TNA is even worse! Tried to watch ROH, great workers but there's no spectacle. Wrestling needs it's Hogans, Rocks and Austins. Awesome characters, that's what this era is lacking.

Yeah right! He probably came up with it. Not only is he the most unwatchable wrestler this side of Randy Orton, he's just a disgusting, dispicable human being. Just die already. We lose Eddie, Pillman, etc, etc, etc, but that waste of space is still walking around & on TV.

That was the worst angle in the history of wrestling, right along side Bossman dragging Shows fathers casket, Mae Young giving birth to a hand, Torrie Wilson fighting at her dads funeral, and Vince fighting Steph in an I Quit match.
The Katie Vick angle actually got me to stop watching the product for a year though. The others made me change the channel.

No it isn't, you're right. It can work well when done right. Unfortunately I don't think it is being done right at the moment.
It's not about having blood and gritty storylines, it's about having memorable characters and storylines the fans can get behind, something that can happen in a PG era if done right.
