Various News: Triple H/Raw Update, Skip Sheffield Picture, More
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.04.2011
Some Sunday morning news...
- Triple H, who as recently as early last week was being advertised for tomorrow's Raw, is no longer listed in the advertising. The belief is that his match with Kevin Nash is being pushed to the Royal Rumble as the company knows getting buys for a lesser PPV that is airing a week before Christmas will be difficult. The arena is currently advertising CM Punk defending his WWE title against John Cena and Alberto Del Rio and a 41 man cross-brand Battle Royal for the show.
- THQ, the company that made WWE '12, is reportedly having problems with their online servers. A report released yesterday says the company will have the problem fixed by January, though a rep for THQ denied it and said they're working on the problem now.
- There is an interview online with Dixie Carter discussing the wrestling industry, what TNA has meant to WWE in terms of the product and more. You can see that here
- The Miami Herald has a picture of Skip Sheffield taken during last night's house show that you can see below:

It was always going to be at the Rumble, where Nash returned last year.

How cute. Dixie wants to feel like her company was important in how WWE does business..

"The belief is that his match with Kevin Nash is being pushed to the Royal Rumble as the company knows getting buys for a lesser PPV that is airing a week before Christmas will be difficult."
So they're practically admitting HHH vs Nash = no buys?

Yes, no Triple H on Raw. Hopefully Nash fucks off as well.

Aaah, the wonders of modern chemistry.

Look at that sly HHH, pushing his return back so he say the increased buys in January are partly due to him.

Glad to see WWE is doing wellness checks. Obviously Skip is also doing a lot of vitamin C and probably a protein shake. Nothing else. Just that. Obviously.

Actually i was thinking he seems to have less muscle and more fat then before his injury.

Here's a kinda-sorta-coincindence-but-not-really fact of the day:
Remember back when he was on Tough Enough, he was going about his ryback the vanilla gorilla gimmick. Now his name is Skip.
On the Regular Show there's a muscular, white gorilla, named Skips (a one letter difference).
Just an observation of two things that are probably unrelated...but oddly similar
P.S. Skips is really a yeti, so not really a coincidence there...
I'm being weird and rambling now, so I'll stop.

Triple H's politics make Hogan look like Spike Dudley.
I do like Nash and hearing that nWo music on tv makes me happy but what the hell happened to Punk-Nash which could have gotten over that Punk can beat giants? You know, like they did with Shawn Michaels in the 90's??

Its chubby Goldberg.

I'm so disappointed with WWE 12 I may not keep until January.
And why is Dixie Carter discussing the wrestling industry, she doesn't know shit about it.

Sir or Ma'am, as 1/2 of the new and improved Gymini tag team, Mr. Sheffield's regime includes rigorous exercise, conditioning, and dieting to my patented Simon System.
Check it out.

People complain about WWE being this or that, but yet their still in business and making bank...If people really wanted change they would force WWE or TNA for that matter to step up and change the product instead playing couch quarter back, saying they know how business should be run, oh really so where is your billion dollar company ? Dont complain about WWE being so lame or TNA being so cheesy, if your not willing to do something about it. The IWC thinks their so smart and know it all, iwc doesnt even makeup 10% of the audience that supports the stupid shit WWE pushes down our throats but yet their gonna complain about it !

Now starting to feel like the 'it begins' vignettes are HHH. Which would be a let down.

Comprehension fail.

Skip Sheffield's lower legs are tiny! No wonder he keeps breaking his ankle.
Posted By: RDog (Guest) on December 04, 2011 at 09:37 PM
A quote from the Dixie Carter interview:
"We went from double-digit growth for a couple years to single-digit growth. I call that a major victory."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why TNA is such a failure.

Not a fan of HHH, but saying ANYONE is a bigger politician or has more ego than Hogan is crazy.

Bitch, please. The "It Begins" vignettes will culminate in my long-awaited to the ring.

He looks fatter and has less muscle mass than the last time we saw him.
Posted By: Mrxiro (Guest) on December 04, 2011 at 10:29 PM
skip should lose 10-15 pounds.
Posted By: Guest#6626 (Guest) on December 04, 2011 at 11:43 PM
No. There is no bigger political move in wrestling history than marrying McMahons' daughter.
When it was obvious he wasn't as good in 2002 he brings back Shawn so he could look great, and alligned himself with Flair who could get anybody over.
Let's just face it, he is not a legend. He's no Flair, he's no Rock, he's no Austin. I'm sure he'll overcome the odds and break the streak next year because he is that damn average.
Posted By: sp1 (Guest) on December 05, 2011 at 01:27 AM
I like skip where he isn't just a chiseled bodybuilder... just like all the other Batistas... I like that he looks f'n tough but yet isn't Captain Washboard. He looks like a f'n badass truckdriver or bar bouncer. He looks like a badass guy that you would bump into at a bar, and not an athlete that you bump into at GNC or Gold's Gym. Great look.

They need to repackage Skip as Hillbilly Goldberg

So how does WWE drug testing work? Let everyone get on the juice, its better when everyone is huge!!
Posted By: Jimbo Jones (Guest) on December 05, 2011 at 12:58 PM
This HHH report was a load of bollocks then.
