Triple H Helps Celebrate Metallica’s 30th Anniversary
Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.12.2011

- Triple H cut a video promo that was shown at Metallica's 30th Anniversary show Saturday night at the Fillmore in San Francisco. During the video, he thanked Metallica for providing the soundtrack of his own 30 year career. When the video played, some of the crowd chanted for him and besides Jimmy Page and Lemmy of Motorhead, got the biggest reaction from the audience. Triple H used Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" at Wrestlemania 27.

Maybe Hunter confused Hetfield for Lemmy? Because it seems to me Motorhead is the soundtrack of his career, not Metallica, but maybe all those steroids addled his brain.

@cenahater...I still remember when Metallica used to write their own music instead of just plagarising it.

Of course, that was 29 years ago...

I played in a band in high school and the first cover we ever did was Bells. Ride the Lightning has always been my favorite CD. I went to Atlanta for WM and when that shit started playing, and then it was HHH instead of Taker, I marked smooth out. That match on TV was overrated by most of the columnists here, but in that moment, it was on point. Happy to see Metallica still on the road and relevant, glad its not pro wrestling where the old guys should get away.

So is Metallica gonna release this or not? I live 40 miles away from the Filmore and I could not get tickets without pay through the @$$!
