WWE News: Mark Henry Injured, John Cena Update, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.19.2011

- Everyone in the TLC main event last night was said to be ok, outside of the usual bumps and bruises. Many people backstage were happy with how the match went.

- John Cena was backstage at the PPV. The decision to not use him was a creative choice, and he was not injured. The company wanted to use the time to focus on other talents and Cena's storyline with Kane will continue on Raw.

- Sources in the company have stated that Mark Henry has been working on a very badly pulled groin. He will likely need time off, which is why he was booked to lose the title last night. Henry was hurting so bad that they pulled him from the house shows over the weekend.

I don't get how fans believe last nights ppv signifies the end of the Cena era. Vince is going to show the abysmal buy rate the ppv did (not surprising considering the lack of build) and declare that none of the people last night can "draw" and then we will get twice as much Cena...

That's a real damn shame, because it's broken Henry's momentum, and forced D-Bryan to cash in before Mania.

A heart=breaker, but with a silver (or gold) lining.

That's EXACTLY what they need to be doing right now. Focus on other talents. Cena......fuck.....I really don't give a shit about his storyline with Kane. Ok? He can take some time off for all I care. I could care less. Fa real, but focusing on building new stars right now is essential as we're headed into 2012.

Mark Henry has been working very hard as of late. He probably needs some time off to regroup and get his shit together, not a bad idea, and a guy like Daniel Bryan can only benefit from Mark Henry taking time off, because then he'll have time to prove to the WWE what he's really made of. Now as far as this shit is concerned.........

Please come back, Cena. I am in hell having 2 ROH guys as champion of my WWE!

Seriously doubt it, because even Vince knows that Cena(and Orton) will not be around forever and they need to push new talent, if they want the company to survive.

You do realise that its late 2011 and they are contracted WWE wrestlers?? Get with the times jacka$$!!

Cena doesn't need to be on every pay-per-view. Out of all the "full timers" he's the most over due to everybody either loving to hate or loving him. IMO, missing a couple of pay per views a year would not hurt his drawing power and having him even vocally giving the rub to others is good for the company.

Please come back Cena. If CM Punk and Daniel O'Brien stay champions for much longer, the ratings will go down to 0.1 and WWE will go bankrupt.

You can hate me all you want. That's your prerogative. I'll just keep doing what I do. Rise above hate. "Cena sucks"? Hey, maybe I do. But I'll keep turning up every night and try my best to tear the house down. Rise above hate. Rise above.. ah who am I kidding? This is killing me.

It's not healthy to steal someone else's user name jacka$$

"Many people backstage were happy with how the match went"

I hope Triple H and Kevin Nash are not a part of that list.

"John Cena was backstage at the PPV"

He said he was going to be at home. Some guy on twitter said "We all know you're going to be there" to which he responded something about "You're going to look stupid"...

Anyone who disapporves of Punk and Danielson as champions isnt a wrestling fan and should go back to their daily hobby of watching My Little Pony

Hey, friendship IS magic, dammit!!!

Oh, and Mark Henry injured? Who didn't see that one coming? Real bright idea going with him, Vince.

Anyone that approves of bryan as champion is just pathetic and a poor excuse for a human being.

Too bad Henry, Show, and Triple H couldn't all get shelved for about six months or forever. I don't give shits about any of them; they're the epitome of boring. At least Cena gets reactions out of people. I also wish Hornswoggle would fall down a well and never get out.

I wish punk and bryan would go back to their old jobs as cooks at a waffle house
