Er... what exactly are they taping tonight? Smackdown was taped last night. They don't do stages for house shows.

They ought to spend some of that money they waste on new stages actually improving the product.

And half the IWC will look at it and whine and cry and bitch and nitpick about it because that is what half the IWC has been reduced to. Whining and crying about things like logos, PPV posters, the colors of John Cena's T shirts and other things that is not worth whining and crying about which is proof that half the IWC have lost their goddamn minds.

Before they went to HD, they did a mock TV taping, so it is possible that they are testing a new design for the staging tonight to work out the kinks before Monday Night.

the new bland same look is boring what they are doing now... I hope this new set looks better. I remember the time when smackdown had their "fist coming through the glass" stage and raw had the classic "fire" looking poles. When smackdown and raw looked different.... and not jus by a different logo on the same HD screens! Also need to work on their ppv's stages like in 2001-2006 (ish lol)

Yeah, because just throwing money at the product instantly improves it. Good theory. How did that work for you in the late 90s, Mr. Bischoff?

Though it's just for house shows so it really shouldn't matter

Weird.. they also started using white ring ropes on Monday. Wonder why all the change?

It doesn't look all that bad. I'm rather impressed actually.
