Plus John Laurinaitis talks Brodus Clay…
- Vickie Guerrero noted on Twitter that she was heading home for the next five days, which means that she will not be at tonight's WWE Smackdown tapings.
- Jim Ross has a new blog up, which you can read here.
- John Lauranitis posted the following on Twitter, discussing Brodus Clay….
"And to those wondering why Brodus didn't debut tonight, I have my reasons. He will debut next week, I promise. Why would I lie?"
- John Cena posted the following on Twitter last night…
"2012 started as 2011 ended. Hate dominating the landscape. I have a feeling these next few months will be the greatest of all challenges. I can see what kane is trying to do...and I certainly know where I stand with Dwayne. I wont falter. Stand 4 something or fall 4 everything. Rise Above the Hate."
well with Vickie not being on Smackdown there is one reason to watch

Anyone else read Lauranitis's tweet in his voice?

So are they using Clay to bolster Laurinaitus' heel run and make him seem like even more of a dipshit?

By the time Brodius Clay debuts, he'll have more ring rust than Dwayne.

--------
If only for the fact that the Rock had absolutely no ring rust in his Survivor Series return. That's as crisp, if not crisper, than he ever looked in the ring.
And I could be wrong, but hasn't Lauranitis promised Brodus' debut on a number of occasions? I'd call it an angle if it was referenced on tv, but I don't think I've ever heard the announcers reference that Clay has been promised but not delivered.

WWE and wrestlers using social media to sell angles.

Well how do I put this and not seem like a whinning crybaby. I've been watching wrestling with the WWF/WWE since the "Original" Wrestlemania and after watching RAW last night I would have to say that it was the most boring and disappointing one in a long time.
TOO MUCH time was spent talking about the Royal Rumble because they are running out of good story lines.
It's time for the diva's division to go back to what they do best, either be Valets or go start up G.L.O.W. againa but GET OFF THE WWE. The "ONLY" woman that I would be afraid to meet in a dark alley is Beth Phoenix because she can totally sell herself as a TRUE Wrestler and she is hotter than the sun to boot.
The Chris Jericho segment was total FODDER and used to burn time. He did not talk at all and that cool jacket he had on malfunctioned after about 1 minute.
You guys need to quit trying to make John Cena hate the fans because he speeches are starting to get BORING. He is NOT a heel and that would totally crush the kids that ask for him in Make A Wish. Come on WWE, WAKE UP.
Get that fucking moron "Johnny Ace ASS" off of my TV. The wrong brother passed away when Hawk died. Bring back HHH as the RAW GM or pull your head out of your asses and give it to Edge.
The only good thing you have done recently is make CM Punk a WWE fan favorite. He is a great person to take the ball from Stone Cold Steve Austin and run with it for a couple of years for sure.
If by the end of the Royal Rumble you can't get thing flowing right, your going to lose one loyal fan the RAW after the Rumble.

Cm punk is boring as well, and why did I picture benoit when he said he would beat jonny ace like a bitch lol.
I think Jericho is going to do a mixture of all his former gimmicks! Fans need to give it time,it's setting up a heel run tho, and for some reason I see Jericho and lesner taking on punk and Cena in the future, probably summer slam yell

Did anyone else just barely gloss over Tom S's comment and didn't care what he/she wrote?

Clay will kill Laurinitis at the Rumble. Mark My words.

@Tom S
Johnny Ace is ANIMAL'S Brother.
The Jericho segment was gold. You'll see next week when he puts CM Punk in the Walls.

Brodus Clay will never appear. This will be an on going joke through out the company for years. Every week they will say that he will appear the following week. When the following week rolls around it will be another excuse. Eventually they will have a weekly segment called "Where in the World is Brodus Clay" Where Johnny Ace wears a safari hat and has a big magnifying glass looking for clues about where he is. This will be the highest rated segment Raw will ever achieve
