Chris Jericho-WWE Update
Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.03.2012
What’s the latest?
- According to Pwinsider.com, WWE has already updated local advertising to show that Chris Jericho will be making appearances at upcoming WWE Raw house shows. The advertising lists Jericho as a "special appearance".
While Jericho was active on Twitter the past few days, denying his return, he has been silent regarding last night's appearance. He has simply been re-tweeting messages from friends and fans about his return, but not posting anything himself.
Once again. Meltzer has no idea as to what's going on, so he is making shit up on the fly

His whole segment looked botched for some reason.

If he's making house show appearance this leads me to believe that he's actual back full time or semi full time ala HBK/Taker work load from a few years back.
This is great news sense the WWE only has four top teir main event level draws in Cena,Punk,Orton and Mysterio. So now their up to five with the return of Y2J.

After last night's appearance, Jericho should not want to talk about that disaster!

If I'm Chris Jericho, I would ask WWE for a re-do!

The worst debut of the year, so far.

Hopefully he goes to Smackdown and takes the belt off that boring vanilla midget Daniel Bryan to save the ratings.

I would not be happy over that return, Jericho. That was the worst idea since Metallica working with Lou Reed.

Y2J vs Punk at WM28.
Posted By: Guest#0040 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 12:35 PM
The return is far from done. He obviously is not coming back as Y2J. That's why he said nothing and kept pushing the gimmick in such and over the top way until the cheers started to turn into played out jeers. This return will have many levels until he comes back as a dark twisted individual. You'll see.

Chris Jericho is an old school GENIUS.

Jericho is on twitter typing away again. glad Jericho is back home in WWE.

Jericho gotta get back in ring shape before he wrestles again.
Posted By: Guest#1185 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 12:44 PM
Y2J!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooo!
Posted By: Guest#2578 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 12:44 PM
Jericho should go out there next week and proclaim he refuses to wrestle-then eventually agree, but only like John Cena. Then he should wrestle horribly and do shoulderblocks etc. It would be great.

Would be awesome if he goes to Smackdown and feuds with Bryan Danielson. Guys like Barett, Drem Mc can benefit from a feud with Jericho

That's what Im talking about. Guys like that would learn from Y2J, it would only help them and the show. I can only imagine what a feud with CMPunk would be like.

I just cross my fingers that he brings in a new finisher... or dusts off an old one that he hasn't been using in recent years.

Dude was in the best shape of his life last night. He lost his pudge and has straight up abs now that he hasn't had for a long time.
Posted By: Guest#1957 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 01:19 PM
Jericho's return was hilarious and well done. The rest of you just have no idea what you're talking about.

How stupid are you marks? Monday on the next raw he comes out in his suit bashing you puppets for being the dipshits you are.
Posted By: Guest#5286 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 01:41 PM
He was at lance storms academy working any rust out. Apparently they even had a 20 min match. No rust from jericho
Posted By: sweet l (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 01:44 PM
Wow, what happened to all the assclowns who were calling Jericho an overrated bum like 3-6 months ago? They're nowhere to be found...yet.

Oh yeah, I'm already liking how this started. Jericho did something not too many people can do;entertain you...
Posted By: supershock360 (Registered) on January 03, 2012 at 02:01 PM
It's obvious EVERYTHING that happened with Jericho was *exactly* as it was supposed to be. He came back as Y2J, purposely not saying anything & left until there were just a few boos... which sets up next week - he'll come back as heel-in-a-suit Chris Jericho & probably won't say anything again. The week after that he'll be a new character. The whole deal was that "The End BEGINS tonight (last night)". It's his farewell tour of sorts, I'm guessing.

Why do the SAME people make the exact SAME comments on multiple articles?? And these comments are hardly so great they need repeating. That being said, Jericho was brilliant & maybe one of these days you other jackasses can figure that out. It just BEGAN.
Posted By: Guest#1144 (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 02:26 PM
i don't think most of you understand what Jericho did last night. He just fooled around, mocking the IWC. He overacted, he caricatured himself and botched his return willingly in order to create frustration among the IWC. He found the right angle to be hated as a heel, which is difficult nowadays... thanks to internet.
Jericho is savvy and has a great mind for the wrestling business. He's always been.

If you smeelllllllllll what TheSh*ts! is dumping!
Posted By: TheSh*ts! (Guest) on January 03, 2012 at 02:31 PM
HOW many marks got owned and had their intelligence insulted by Jericho last night? That is truly the question.
I'd say many based on the comments here.

I love Jericho and much of what he has done for the business, BUT, when they do a build-up like that surely that return last night was one of the most anticlimactic moments in WWE for quite some time.

Meltzer does the Observer. Scherer is PWI. Keller is the Torch. Alvarez is a big dink.

Everyone comes back looking great; much like this storyline, we'll see how good those abs look at Mania.
