Lance Storm Talks About Training Chris Jericho For WWE Return
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.03.2012

- Lance Storm noted on Twitter last night that he worked with Chris Jericho leading up to Jericho's WWE return last night, and even had a match that was done as a private session away from his students that was recorded for private viewing. Storm said:

Since he's back yes @IAmJericho did come back and train with me at SWA. We spent a couple days in the ring including a 17 min match #norust

"Jericho’s appearance on RAW was meant to be somewhat of a parody of his WWE debut & “Save Us” return several years ago. Like with Jericho’s WWE debut back in 1999, Jericho appeared after weeks of buildup, got a tremendous reaction from the live crowd and wound up turning them against him by the end of his segment. Based on what we’ve been hearing, Jericho will be turning full-fledged heel in the coming weeks and is still scheduled to wrestle CM Punk for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 28."

Watching Jericcho last night all I could think of was him in the Thrill Seekers. Had that stupic babyface smile and playing to the crowd in such an over the top way. Can't wait to see where it goes.

And Lance Storm taught him that if you're Lance Storm, silence is golden.

I hope that match sees the light of day sometime.

Hopefully none of Lance's anti charisma rubbed off on Chris.

Sounds homoerotic...Where do I get a copy?

Jericho showed off all the great promo skills Lance shared with him.

Jericho vs Storm for 17 minutes? I'm sold, post it Lance!

Posted By: shaun_callen (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 06:56 PM

That explains Jericho's lame promo LOL

Posted By: Jiminy (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 06:56 PM

Storm also worked with Jericho before his last return in 07 (as was detailed in his last book). The results were good last time, let's hope they are similar for this run.

I figured lance storm was involved by the way Jericho got a mic and didn't say anything into it noteworthy.

Is it like one of the private session matches that the SHIMMER girls do, with a lot of crotch attacks, sadistic striking, and sustained submission torture. The things a struggling wrestler needs to do for gas money, huh?

Posted By: Guest#7213 (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 07:58 PM

"...and even had a match that was done as a private session away from his students that was recorded for private viewing."

So who was the top and who was the bottom?

I'm from Winnipeg, you idiot!

Posted By: Guest#5434 (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 08:45 PM

I wouldn't mind seeing that match.

Posted By: G-Walla (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 08:54 PM

wonder why he didn't give his students the benefit of watching two old pros go at it. They could stand to learn a thing or two, and Storm and Jericho can gauge audience reaction a little.

Posted By: Guest#3613 (Guest)  on January 03, 2012 at 09:22 PM

You silly idiots talking about Lance's charisma rubbing off on Jericho clearly do not know the history between the two. Morons.

Heel or face..who cares.

Jericho = Gold

WWE just got far better

Bet that match was better than anything TNA has put out in the past 5 years. And it appears that it took place in front of a typically sized TNA audience
