WWE News: CM Punk Injury Update, Raw Script Delays, More

Is CM Punk injured?
- The script for Monday's edition of Raw was not finalized until one hour before the start of the show.
- For those wondering if CM Punk was injured in his Raw match on the botched stun gun spot, word is that Punk was downplaying things backstage and giving the impression that he was completely fine.
- The ending of the show was planned at least a week ago, but plans as to how they got there were not finalized until the day of the show. They did the angle to provide a "safe but dangerous looking" cliffhanger for the Cena vs. Kane storyline. Due to the way the angle was done, that is why the six-man tag had to end the show.

How can a billion dollar professional company hosting a live top rated television show only finish a script less than an hour before going live.
It seems so amateurish.

"The script for Monday's edition of Raw was not finalized until one hour before the start of the show."
Did anyone ever stop and think that this might be the reason why the product sucks? I've seen episodes (of WWE and TNA) where the script didn't appear to be finalised until one minute before the show.

WWE hasn't been a billion-dollar company for a long time, they'd have to get the share value up to about $22 per share to achieve this.
The script thing isn't surprising either, used to happen all the time in WCW and WWE's shows over the last several years have had some terrible booking decisions that come off as "last minute" with no long term planning.
Probably happens more often than you'd think.

A six man tag match should never end Monday Night Raw over a WWE Championship match. Fuck Cena. Punk is the Champion!
