Dixie Carter Says She Hasn't Talked To Hulk Hogan
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.13.2012

- TNA president Dixie Carter says she hasn't talked to Hulk Hogan in a while. Carter told the Daily Star while promoting the upcoming London Impact tapings that Hogan "knows what's going on (in TNA) – he's a businessman, and he knows that it's an important date for us. He will be eyeing that very carefully. He's been gone from the scene. My goal would be to have him there."

Carter also said that she thought this would be Sting's final year as a wrestler. She said that "it feels very final" and that his appearance in London, his first in ten years, will be "an emotional night." She added, "In his mind, I think this is his last year as far as the wrestling is concerned. When we booked this, that's the way he was talking about it – ‘I haven't played there in a decade, and before I retire I need to come back there and wrestle.' Based on where he's at and what he's saying, barring something extraordinary this is the last time."

Hulk never gave a shit about TNA, he was in it for himself and Eric

I'm pulling for TNA to be a huge success so hard...but Dixie Carter is such an idiot that she makes it hard for me to root for her.

Let's see Sting retiring will be 500k off TNA and Spike's books. Not talking to Hulk, well he's a liar so no loss there. Basically TNA may be able to pay some of the talent next year on time unlike the many being behind on pay right now. Goooooo Dixie-rah rah sis boom bah...force all the old codgers into retirement. They have only been albatrosses around TNA's neck.

Nah, Sting ain't retiring- just offer him another title reign at the expense of a younger wrestler....the tears of jobbed out wrestlers are like crack to him

you insulted hogan by not putting the belt on him. you'd be lucky if he ever comes back, and they fans will leave with him.

That's how he's been pretty much his entire career. He had that one brief time where he came back to WWE, put a few of the younger guys over, etc., then Vince treated him like shit. Hogan felt used and went back to being the selfish prick he used to be that doesn't care if it hurts the business as long as it's what he wants.

Kevin Nash learned everything he knows from Hogan and it shows.

Says the guy praising Flair for doing the same thing and now breaking his contract with the company to appear on a WWE show.

Biased much?

Please Sting, do the right thing and have a match with Taker. I know it will probably be Taker's worst match since Big Boss Man, but I don't care. Just want to say it happened.

And this is a bad thing?

What are you, a communist?

I work for the benefit of me. If my company benefits (usually does or else I wouldn't be employed)) great, but if not, that's just fine...as long as my checks keep coming.

Grow up.

Here's a good question: why does anyone really care about old wrestlers and how they are? Does it really matter in our daily lives? I love reading the comments in these sections. Since the current product for both TNA and WWE is bad, I go to these comment sections for be entertained.
Seriously, enlighten me as to why how Hogan and Nash are really bad people based on what you all read. Are any of you employees of the old WWF or WCW or even someone who just left WWE? How do you know? Oh, that's right...you just watch shoot interviews and read stuff on the internet. I'm thinking that's probably where this all stems from. Just my guessing here...

I assume you mean Jarrett. The same Jarrett who co-founded TNA.

if sting wants to go to wwe, the timing is better now than it ever was.

How is Flair breaking his contract by going to the Hall of Fame? I'm sure TNA doesn't mind the exposure.

I really want to support TNA. Unfortunately its being run by a mark with money who keeps hiring the WORST of the business and paying them tons of cash while ignoring the DEEP talent roster they already have. Sad really.

I support TNA.

Fortunately its being run by a brilliant person with resources who keeps hiring the BEST of the business and paying them tons of cash while having the DEEP talent roster they already have. Cool. really.

Ugh. Get over yorself!
The fact that you don't support TNA is about as worrisome to Dixie Carter as a cloudy day.

Always depends on the contract but signing someone to a contract is to ensure certain things between parties. Doesn't ever guarantee what you want but it tries to. If I'm TNA I signed Flair for the name and draw he still has, I don't want him mixing with another fed, if people feel they can see him other places they might not go to your show.

I don't see a big deal with letting Flari go to HOF but I can see where it causes problems. For one if I'm TNA I'm paying big money for a name and I don't want WWE getting free publicity off my stars name (even if they pay Flair.)

In the end what goes around comes around.

TNA doesn't get any exposure from Flair doing the HOF show, how stupid are you?

Didn't he retire in 2009? Or was that 2008? The match at BFG with AJ Styles...I thought that was his last match. It's a shame he came back, he's just pissing on his legacy.

You answered your own question....It's not that we really care, we do it because both promotions suck and the only enjoyment we have is to talk shit on here and pretend rasslin is still relevent in the world. Some of us are just clowns while others are pathetic basement dwellers that creep into delusional actually believing this stuff. The clowns are ashamed of the basement dwellers. It's a preschool playground. Grab a name and cut loose, including us. Otherwise walk away from wrestling because there's nothing left to look forward to. We, the IWC, are shit slinging monkeys in the zoo. Join in or get hit...lol Enjoy 411 Brutha
