More Monday news...
- Shawn Michaels said on his Twitter page that he will be visiting the Smackdown taping in Las Vegas this week. He'll be in town to film his hunting show.
- We've put up photos of Stacy Keibler at the Golden Globes last night with George Clooney. Check them out here.
- Many backstage in WWE are shaking their heads at Vince McMahon's decision to not allow CM Punk to appear on UFC On FOX on January 28th. The feeling among many is that Punk appearing on a UFC show would create buzz and get people talking about WWE. One person in WWE joked that "Vince seems to have forgotten the reaction to Brock Lesnar and Undertaker staring at each other already." [Credit: PWInsider]

I believe CM Punk should be allowed to show up especially the double standard with Ric flair. I would really like Punk to step inside the octagon and get his ass handed to him. I would actually watch UFC for that.

Vince is right on this one. It would attract more WWE viewers to take an interest in UFC than vice versa.

No one cares what you think! You think you are someone important and Vince McMahon cares that you tihnk it's a double standard? How dumb can you be!!!? WWE is numebr one and if Vince says CM Punk can't go to the UFC corner, then Punk will do what he is told. Now you do what you are told and shut up!

I really don't think any UFC fan is going to see Punk walking down with Sonnen and go, "What a cool guy! I'm going to start watching WWE to see this cool guy!" There's more to gaining fans than just a cameo.
