Chris Jericho Says He's Back in WWE Long-Term
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.19.2012

- Chris Jericho recently said that he believes his WWE return will be a long-term one. Jericho told the Winnipeg Free press that "I have no intentions of leaving anytime soon," amd mentioned that he was in the best shape of his life.

"The thing for me is I always have lots of other stuff going on and I always have," said Jericho. "So, sometimes I leave to work on other projects, but I'll always come back."

Thank God.The WWE needs him so badly right now with the lack of star power.Even if he has to take a few months of a year to due his Fozzy thing its still all good.

I am hoping he stay around for a couple more years and then has a huge finale match and send off at WM 30.

Not really sense he's says he's sticking around,is on the main roster page and has already done and will be doing houses.Plus he shows up every week on RAW Live.

So actually nothing at all like Dwayne.

Damn, well maybe he will get hurt then. WWE needs to get rid of him and move on. They really shouldnt have anyone from the attitude era anymore except for special occasions.

Why the hell would Jericho go to TNA? Not just in general, but also right after coming back for WWE, the company he says he'll always work for, the company he has no reason to leave?

What, you think TNA are going to offer him more money, a bigger audiences, better storylines, and feuds with the biggest names in the industry?

What planet are you on?

Yep. One more multi-talented guy that is capable of having success outside of the world of wrestling so he chooses to leave in order to keep himself healthy and not be just another statistic. You're absolutely right.

Which of course means he'll be gone after Summer Slam. This cat thinks its important to live the gimmick and work the marks. Who really cares what he has to say?

Wrestling is in Jericho's blood. He's a wrestler wrestler's. Plain and simple. He might take time off every once in a while to work on some side project or pursue some other endeavor, but he'll always return to the WWE, because the business is in his blood. He feels it.

Posted By: TK03000 (Guest)  on January 19, 2012 at 03:17 PM

Didn't Jericho recently claim he wasn't returning to the WWE. He's about as honest as Hulk Hogan.

oh great, another 15 years of a small grumpy heel, just what wwe needs, crabby in and outta the ring, shaking the fans hands and now i fooled ya, gee didnt expect that, TNA is starting to look better and better

Ask Him!!!!

Posted By: andersonpillman (Guest)  on January 19, 2012 at 03:55 PM

And he'll definitely be creating new stars while he's here. Hoping for feuds with Dolph, Swagger, Cody, Sheamus & Kofi.

Whoopty-doo!...Try as I might to get all fired up...I just can't. WWE does need help but Jericho sure isn't the answer. He's okay but he damn sure isn't going to do anything to make things better. His past is proof of that. People aren't going to shell out money to watch this guy for the most part.

They never have before and won't now. For all the love Jericho gets from internet fans...he'll always be remembered as "one of those other guys" when comparing him with a Hogan, Rock, Austin or even Cena.

Y2J is the best in the world at what he does!!

Posted By: elvylanda (Guest)  on January 19, 2012 at 06:05 PM

I have followed Jericho since his days in ECW. Very few wrestlers these days have the understanding of fan psychology. Jericho has made it an artform. I have no problem with what he has been doing over the past several weeks because I know the payoff is going to be huge. About Jericho leaving for TNA, anyone who thinks that could happen don't understand Jericho and the loyalty he shows for WWE; the company that made him. He also wants to perform in front of the biggest audiences and with the biggest stars in the industry. Jericho never goes second-rate. WWE can only benefit from his return. Welcome back, Y2J!
