Wrestler Legitimately Knocked Out At EVOLVE 10
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.19.2012

Ahtu was said to be legitimately knocked out at EVOLVE 10 during a match with Low Ki.

On last Saturday's Internet PPV, Low Ki's first kick connected with and knocked him unconscious. Low Ki was the mystery opponent that Ahtu was scheduled to face.

"Damn, Lo ki is such a badass"

Wrong. It means he's a dangerous worker. If you can't protect your opponent, nobody is going to want to work with you.

Yea that hit was vicious. Lowkey is great though, he followed that up with Muta style corner kick and safely connected with the turnbuckle but it looked like he kicked the guy's head off.

WWE taught this guy how to wrestle and now he's just about to kill someone.

Go back to NXT you loser!

Low Ki is an angry midget that needs to accept that you don't get paid extra for a knock out. He is so obsessed with being a tough guy that he has injured dozens of opponents over his career. His head is so far up his own ass that nobody, both bookers and wrestlers, who has any common sense would want to work with him.

The black guy from Robin Hood Men in Tights?

Maybe if Low-Ki wasn't such a fuck up and new how to work as a pro instead of a delusional egotistical spotmonkey this never would have happened. Hey Gabe do you remember what a dick he is yet. You seriously can't use this douche again considering his past with you can you? Hey Gabe withhold his pay until he starves and leaves the business cuz he's never drawn a dime.

Didn't Low Ki knock out Dan Maff at some point?

YOU WILL RESPECT LOW KI!!!!!

Must've been visioning he was facing Vince instead when he kicked him.

WWE was scared of him because he was so badass! This is great! My new hero!!!

Stiff wrestlers are stupid, lol. Its like they wanted to be MMA fighters, realized MMA is hard, and decided to become wrestlers instead.

Its not like he didn't know the kick was coming. Some ppl just like to act bad and take a shot instead of trying to guard against them

You announced this earlier this week when you talked about the event - you even mentioned that Low Ki apologized. Who care about an event that drew less than the afternoon event and had disrespectful talent that would rather try to spot themselves out than work a crowd?

Ahtu weighs 120 pounds more than Low-Ki. Getting knocked out by that midget probably has killed his career. At least his image as tough guy is gone now.

This kinda shows that a midget can easily destroy a giant if they have the training.

If you actually see the video you will see the knock out was more due to him whilashing himself on the turnbuckle.

Yep in JAPW. He also messed up Roderick Strong pretty bad in the TPI 2006 Finals in IWA: Mid South and Chris Hero in the BOLA 2008 Finals in PWG.

Let's not celebrate a botched move that made another worker look bad.

He also KO'd Sami Callihan last year with a stiff slap. Guy needs to tone it the hell down.

Very true, it's no surprise they don't refer to any of their employees as wrestlers now days, as they all get rushed straight to Wrestlemania main events without even going to a proper wrestling school.

he should just fight MMA.

Watch the footage people. It's really not his fault. Misplaced kick and not a good landing into the turnbuckle.

I remember watching Y2J's tape (yes, tape, not DVD) and hearing him talk about how he and Benoit, Storm, and Guerrero would agree: In the ring, all bets are off. Protect the business first and your opponent second.I agree with that sentiment. While I do not condone unsafe workers, I do totally agree with making the product look as good as possible. I want this shit to be cool again, and Low-Ki's (among others, like Danielson) style is the way to do it.

That's why he never even nearly made in WWE. Way to protect your fellow professional you angry little dwarf.
