Here's Matt Hardy talking about why he is wrestling again on the independent scene -- the main reasons being to keep in shape and to honor pre-existing plans to accompany his girlfriend, Reby Sky, to her appearances. He says he is not looking for a full-time return. Hardy is set to work Saturday's Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling show in South Boston, VA.

Not all wrestlers are eloquent or imaginative as The Rock or Stone Cold. Matt Hardy shouldn't talk or give statements without a coach, manager, agent, whatever. He shouldn't publicly speak on his own, without prior consulting with some sort of a PR guy. Same goes for Angle and Hogan. People expect too much from these guys, so when they sound stupid everyone is shocked. If another type of athlete - basketball, soccer, whatever regular sport you want - sound stupid, that's not unexpected. With wrestlers, people expect too much. But really, total packages like The Rock, Stone Cold or even CM Punk are rare, and that's why they succeed and exceed.

Why doesn'[t he just look into the camera and share his thoughts like his other videos? This "talking to some unseen person off camera" style of interview is OLD and LAME. But why does he feel the need to explain himself, anyway? I don't have anything against the guy, but why is he posting this video and what's with the rapping part at the end? Is he auditioning for American Idol?
