Latest On Triple H vs. The Undertaker
Posted by Ashish on 01.31.2012
Which shows will they be working leading up to WM?
Triple H is being advertised for every RAW Supershow leading up to WrestleMania, while the Undertaker is being advertised for only the February 20th RAW Supershow in Minneapolis, MN at the Target Center. They're promotional material says the following:
""The Phenom" The UNDERTAKER will be live in Minneapolis to confront "The Game" TRIPLE H for the first time in over a year since their last meeting at WrestleMania 27!"
Will it be a good match? Probably. Is it needed? No. Taker should have fought someone else this year.

That'll put 9 year old butts in the seats.

calling it now. hhh vs taker with hbk as ref.

I'm not at all trying to be a snark about this. I just truly do not care to see these two fight again. I would not at all order WrestleMania on the basis of seeing them. Sheamus vs Taker would be much better and much fresher.

I'm sure he'll be appearing at more shows than that.

Oh shit even with my lack of feelings toward their third encounter I think I am now going to go to the show that night.Haven't bought a ticket yet but was planning to to see CM Punk and the returning Chris Jericho. So its possible that I could see.
The Rock(Highly unlikely)
Triple H
The Undertaker
Chris Jericho
CM Punk
Now that's some serious star power,or should I say old timer star power.

I love how the WWE has no concept of time. Yes, it's February, but it's been over a year since Wrestlemania... Also, Big Show was out 4 months (nevermind it was actually 2 and a half).

in OVER a year? REally considering wrestlemania was LESS than a year ago

The Undertaker confronted HHH for two reasons: 1) 'Taker needed one of those elastic thingies HHH uses for his hair, 2) 'Taker needed Dennis Stamp's phone number to book him for 'Mania. He's not booked!

In all seriousness for a minute... WHAT WAS WITH THE WIG??? Is it simply because 'Taker's hair hasn't grown long enough, and if so, I guess they have faith it will do so by 'Mania?? Risky! I mean, there's no way he will wrestle with a wig on, is there? Double risky!

Sweet! I'll be there.

I think the Undertaker will face the original Triple H at WM...Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Wow. That coward Edge shows up to more WWE event than the Undertaker. Another reason why TNA is better.

i dont see the point in having undertaker wrestling someone that he's already beaten at mania twice god wwe is stale and repetitive half of undertakers streak is compromised of wrestlers he's beaten more then once at mania

It wasn't a good match last year, I can't imagine it'll be good, this year.
I hate saying it, having been an Undertaker fan from back in the days of stuffing people in body bags, but Hs is just the thing to make me turn apathetic.
I only want to see the match if it retires Mutiple Hs.

Please no Taker vs Trips III!!!

Another re-match..YAWN! How about a new match, create a new star. How about The Miz vs Undertaker and Miz goes over? WWE is boring.

Couldn't care less.

Cool.

Simple reason this match makes NO SENSE... If the point is HHH will put his career on the line for one more chance at Taker, HHH has only had 2 matches since WM 27 (against Punk, and the tag against Awesome Truth). He is NOT an active wrestler, so who cares if he retires?

Number of wrestlers that 'Taker has faced more than once at Wrestlemania:
Triple H
Shawn Michaels
Kane
Erm.......that's it?

I love the Undertaker, I was a just a little kid when he made his debut, so I grew up watching him. I still think he is the coolest wrestling character ever. But, I really don't want to see him fight Triple H again. It's just that Triple H really needs to shed some weight around the waist, do some cardio and get faster; based on his super slow match with Nash, he's super slow right now. But I have no problems with Undertaker of HHH still competing, they can still go.

This is stupid, they have fought twice at Mania already, is a third time really necessary? Its not like it was some classic ala HBK/Taker anyway, so why force it down our throats?

You thinking TNA is better than WWE is another reason why the entire world thinks you're a fucking dipshit.

Wow, people are actually saying HHH and Undertaker wasn't a good match. I bet those are the same people that thought Daniel Bryan and CM Punk is a match of the year candidate. Gotta love the "know it all" internet fan base!!

Obviously, I need to rest up for Mania. Monday was hard work.

im not fond of HHH vs taker #3...
pt 1 was good & pt 2 was ok...
the only way wwe can get me excited about this match is if they give us fans the match weve though about for along time...
let the masters of HELL IN A CELL meet at mania in a HELL IN A CELL MATCH!
but aside from that thought i think wwe could have handled the wwe titles differently...
in a way that would have led to a much better taker match!
two things stay the same punk bieng champion & shemus winning the rumble!
now, have d. brian save the MITB, and use it to challenge punk for the title an wrestlemania...
theirs 1 great match...
now that frees up jericho to face undertaker, a match that could be great, and a match that would have had some interesting story, maybe even giving a pay off to jerichos wierd videos & end of the world stuff!
hell they could have had a HELL IN A CELL...
but a regular match would have been fine...
now on to the other title, obvious shemus is the challenger...
now you have many choices for his opponent...
big show & henery, (not people id choose), but they are choices...
or the elimination chamber is coming up, christian or orton or kane could easily become champ their and face shemus...
snother option: triple threat or fatal 4 way
shemus/kane/orton/christian could have been a fun 4 way...

they have to go with the career vs streak stipulation this time or shawn michaels as the ref or both. their match last was very slow and boring and overrated.

I think it isn't going to be HHH/Taker. I think WWE is going to "COO" his way out of it. See what I did there?
