Has he even been in the E long enough for a DVD? It's not like they can use ROH or TNA footage?

Yes, How on Earth will they put together a DVD without his three months in TNA, or his 2 and a half years in RoH!? DESPICABLE. All they have is about 6 years worth of WWE footage.

Punks been in wwe 6 years now, John Morrison got one with only two years of footage as Morrison used. Long over due.

DVD only for Punk? I hope they consider Blu too. Or else, mass sales fail.

Considering WWE was releasing Austin and Rock match compilations on DVD in 2001, when they had only been main event stars for 3 years. Punk has been in WWE nearly 6 years now. You do the math

He has been with WWE for 6 or 7 years. Probably 30 or so PPV matches and countless tv matches. Quite a few memorable promos as well.

I'm sure for a little cash and maybe a little pub they could get an ROH match or two. I bet you could get some IWA matches for two hot dogs and a bottle of asprin. They have used independent matches before on Edge and Jericho DVDs. Especially if it was a match vs Bryan Danielson or one of they guys coming in from ROH soon. Especially if Hero passed his wellness test this past Janaury and gets to come in. Those two have more than a few matches on tape, I'm sure.

I seem to recall the WWE making a DVD on Brock Lesnar 6 months into debuting in the WWE. So I think 6 years is plenty of time for CM Punk to have a DVD set.

He's been around for 5 years. That's plenty.

Nevermind his PWG match footage. Although, they could probably buy all of Punk's work from IWA-MS for the price of a crack rock for Ian Rotten and a boob job & lipo for his whore, Mickie Knuckles.

So basically they're going to sell WWE brand blank DVD+RW.

They could make a solid DVD on just the Summer of Punk alone. They don't need footage of ROH. Some interviews from some of the guys who knew him in his indy days would be good. Hopefully they don't completely ignore that part of his career but that's very possible.

Either way, from his cameo at WM22 to now, there's more than enough material to make a good DVD that will sell.
