WWE Signs Chris Hero
Posted by Larry Csonka on 02.07.2012

According to Pwinsider.com, former ROH Tag Team champion Chris Hero was at WWE developmental yesterday. Hero had been waiting for medical tests to clear, and since they did he has officially been signed.

At this time, there are no plans to put Hero together with former partner Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) on the main roster. This was the plan from the beginning.

KoW will hopefully lead to a revival of the Tag Division...

Or it will just lead to a Claudio/Hero feud which will be awesome!

Congrats, Chris. If anyone has earned a shot a the big time, it's you. I'll miss watching you in a small setting, but hope to see you in front of thousands.

I can't think of any wrestler who upped his game more than Hero has over the past five years. Solid in the ring, great on the mic, great psychology. He's got the size, he's got the character. All the best to him.

Finally! Massive congratulations to Chris. I've met him a number of times and he's always been the nicest guy. And of course, an incredible talent. Very well deserved and I hope he achieves all the success in the world.

Good for Hero, hope they let him be himself like Punk & not turn him into some generic guy like they did with Colt. Give him a fair shake & he'll deliver the goods.

when theres no team to make KOW shine and impactful, they are gonna be like london and kendrick so better for them to stay apart. tag team wrestling in the wwf era worked because it was a spot-fest and they had so many main-eventers or former world champions that they could throw in once in a while to make a tag scene interesting. lets say if and really if wwe allows tag team wreslters to just go at it 100%, people are going to be popular, but the writing team wont know what to do with them. should we break them apart or give them a 1-year boring title run.

YESSSS!!!! WWE finally got the Edge clone under contract. Now they can make him shave his head and wear short tights so nobody knows who he's trying to copy.

So wait a second...

CM Punk? Signed. WWE Champion. One of their top guys off/on for a few years now.

Bryan Danielson? Signed. World Heavyweight Champion. Easily the most over heel on the SmackDown roster and comfortably finding his niche as a chickenshit heel who can actually wrestle.

Claudio Castagnoli? Signed.

Chris Hero? FINALLY signed.

Matt Sydal? Signed and, when not indulging in smokeable substances, extremely over.

Hey, anti-indy fucks...guess who's taking right the fuck over after all of us "vanilla midget" marks have been praising them for years?

Few things that have happened in wrestling have made me happier than this. The Kings of Wrestling are one of the best things in this industry and I hope that they will be reunited and pioneer the rebirth of the WWE Tag Team division.
