ROH's Owners Looking to Acquire More Stations
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.08.2012

- During Sinclair Broadcasting's fourth-quarter earnings, the company indicated that it might look to acquire more televisaion stations. President/CEO David Smith said, "If we see opportunities to go after acquisitions, then we'll certainly consider them the same way we considered Freedom and Four Points. We're prepared to get bigger if need be - if we see the benefit of leverage associated with it."

The company could reportedly be looking for "Big Four" affiliates--aka CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox--in mid-sized markets.

Come to ny stations! But why would they want a big market with large audiences!? That would be nuts

Somewhere east of the Mississippi other than Nevada would be nice, too.

Chicago seems like a market that they should target since ROH goes there on a regular basis.

One Word.....Philly. How can you have a wrestling show AND NOT BROADCAST it in the area where you started!!!!!

Wow. Looking at the comments above, is ROH on TV anywhere?

I second the NYC notion. I haven't seen any ROH since the HDNet show went off the air. I just gave up since it seems inaccessible to get into.

Something tells me this might have actually been a step DOWN from HDNet (and HDNet wasn't in that many housholds either).
