Plus an update on Raw viewership in Canada…
- Marco Corleone has been pushing for Alex Koslov (who was recently released by WWE Developmental) to return to CMLL. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
- Roddy Piper stated in a recent interview that he has working on hosting a Piper's Pit with John Cena and The Rock. Also when asked if he would be at WrestleMania, he said, "I'll be at WrestleMania. Let's just put it that way."
- As previously reported, former WWE star Batista will be in the film Riddick. The Hollywood Reporter reports that he will play the role of Diaz in the new film, and that it is a co-starring role, meaning that he will appear in about 90% of the film.
- For January, WWE Raw averaged 383,600 viewers on The Score in Canada. The January 2nd episode, which featured the return of Chris Jericho averaged 427,000 viewers. The January 23rd edition, which was the lead in to the Royal Rumble PPV averaged 399,000 viewers.
