Various News: WWE Abu Dhabi Press Conference, Melina Facing Velvet Sky and More
Posted by George H. Sirois on 02.09.2012

- WWE.com has posted a video of a press conference in Abu Dhabi. John Cena, CM Punk and R-Truth made appearances, and Kane interrupted, causing the scene to become "chaotic." The video can be seen here.

- John (Morrison) Hennigan vs. Dave Finlay and Melina vs. Velvet Sky (for the first time ever) have both been announced for Northeast Wrestling's Wrestlefest 2012 on March 23 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Matt Hardy, Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lawler and more are expected there as well. For more details, visit NortheastWrestling.com.

- The WWE Divas have not been included on the tour this weekend to the U.A.E. because of the strict laws regarding women and how they can appear in the country.

Yeah, what better way to "respect" someone than to pass restrictive laws treating them as second-class citizens

Can the United States pass strict laws regarding women, so I don't have to watch anymore botch-filled Divas matches?

If there's no Divas, when will all the Abu Dhabians empty their bladders?

I'm sure Nataliya has thanked Allah.

Female is a genre now? Also, it's RESPECTFUL to tell them that they can't wear something a man can wear?

Hey now.. It's a slippery slope.. Let WWE Divas appear in the country and before long women will be wanting to brush their teeth, wear less than 114 lbs of clothing, and once that happens you know they'll gonna want freedom of speech..

I swear.. Give a mouse a cookie...
