WWE News: WWE Movie After Impact, Rock Comments On Wrestling
Posted by Ashish on 02.09.2012

- Spike TV aired The Marine 2 after Impact tonight. WWE's Ted DiBiase, who stars in the movie, tweeted the following: "Marine 2" will be on Spike TV tonight!! Check it out!!! Comes on after some wrestling show ;) And don't forget to watch Smackdown tomorrow!"

- Mashable.com has an interview up with The Rock in which he talks about reaching a variety of audiences via Twitter. He also said the following on whether he would recommend a person go into pro-wrestling:

"I would encourage my children, or anyone else's, to get involved in pro-wrestling-slash-sports-entertainment if that's their dream... It's provided an amazing opportunity for me and I wouldn't be where I am today without it. But the first thing I always tell kids is get their college education. Then if pro wrestling is what they want to do, I'm all for that. But understand that with great success comes consistent hard work."

- The Chicago Tribune also has an interview up with the Rock, mostly about Journey 2. He had the following comment about his wrestling return:

"I quietly retired about eight years ago from the WWE, when I was still on top, to focus on acting, but I'm getting back in the ring for one night in April with the goal of creating the biggest match of all time. So, I'm training extra hard right now. For me, those wrestling roots run deep as my grandfather and my dad wrestled, and I love that form of entertainment. That's where I cut my teeth, getting into the entertainment business and doing it for 10 million fans every week."

Spike almost always airs movies with WWE guys in it after Impact. They air The Condemned with Stone Cold all the time after Impact which is another WWE movie.

Almost makes you wonder if WWE paid for that slot after Impact just to tick them off.

Couldn't help but noticed he said,"back in the ring for ONE night in April...".

So much for never leaving.

If he's training so hard then he should have no problem going to the limit with Cena, whose cardio is off the charts! Hopefully they'll get 45 minutes. If Taker and HHH can get 30 minutes, these guys should go 45 or longer.

It's real easy for Cena to be in the ring for 45 minutes when he spends most of the time doing nothing...
