UPDATE: PWInsider reports that The Marine 2 did a 0.66 rating with 882,000 viewers airing directly after Impact.

ORIGINAL: Last night's episode of Impact did a 1.05 rating with 1.5 million viewers. That's down from last week's 1.16 and 1.61 million viewers and is the lowest rating of the year. The last rating lower was the December 22nd episode during Christmas.

The show did increase its ratings in male demographics, up 0.1 in the male 18 - 49 demo and male 18 - 34 demo from last week.

where are the 3.0 ratings that has been hogan promised in 2010, brothers?

sting is not a ratings draw and neither is old man hogan and that bastard eric bitchoff or his demon seed, garrett.

mcmahon knows that sting, hogan and bitchoff should have left the rasssling business when he bought wcw in 2001. those losers are nothing without billionare ted turner and his checkbook.

[Wrestling promotion] is dying!!!!!!

I'm guessing this is due to the people thinking that this was going to be a Star Wars focused show.

I didn't read the report. I don't have to.

I already know that Impact got a 1.0, a 1.1 or a 1.2. You know, like it has for the last 5 years and will for the next 5 years.

marine 2 didn't do too bad for a movie thats been out for a long time now.

Posted By: Guest#8671 (Guest)  on February 10, 2012 at 07:29 PM

WWE should have had CM punk star in the marine 2. it would have actually made some money.

They'd have done much better if they had Snooki on. C'mon TNA, get with it!

I actually enjoyed it. Anytime they leave the impact zone its a fun show.

Orange Hulk is bad for ratings.

Posted By: Guest#5528 (Guest)  on February 10, 2012 at 08:15 PM

I guess the fans didn't like the English crowd last week and tuned out this week. They should just stay in the Impact Zone forever

"I already know that Impact got a 1.0, a 1.1 or a 1.2. You know, like it has for the last 5 years and will for the next 5 years. "

Indeed, which is why it's funny when people say RIP TNA 2006, RIP TNA 2007, RIP TNA 2008, etc (you'd think they'd learn by now). It ultimately boils down to this...if Spike is happy with a 1.0-1.2 rating, then they aren't going anywhere. But at the same time, not going anywhere better or worse either...

Those UK shows were good and enjoyable shows in front of massive passionate crowds. Fuck ratings and fuck haters, shows like those are the way forward.

Posted By: Jan (Guest)  on February 10, 2012 at 10:55 PM

No Angle, no Hardy, no Anderson = shitty ratings.

Also not surprising: the worst rated segments (besides the video packages) consisted of TALKING.

Hopefully TNA notices this and takes action.

Not bad considering it was up against Monday Night Football.

It is a sad sign when two good wrestling filled shows taped outside the Impact Zone due poorly in the ratings. I hope this doesn't mean more EY in the KO division is on the horizon.

You keep bringing that up. Didn't TNA have the other, less popular girl from Jersey Shore on Impact?

That being said, I liked the last two episodes of Impact. The UK crowds were really good. I hadn't enjoyed a TNA show since they last taped on the road in the Carolinas. Hopefully, they decide to do more taping outside of the Impact Zone, really freshen things up.

pretty good considering they were up against thursday night football.

Again, if you are gonna post 2 damn updates on a freakin ratings, why dont you just fucking wait for the all mighty pw torch writers to finish updating. So meaningless.

the only retards on this site are maggots like wes kirk who have some sort of vendetta against vince mcmahon and his 1.2 billion dollar company that they pray, pray, pray that HAS BEEN HOGAN and his lover, eric bitchoff can get tna to be like wcw was in 1997 and challenge wwe.

it is not going to happen. wwe is too big. when wwe goes to tna , they get a higher attendance than tna.

wm 28 will get over 1,000,000 buys while tna got less than 25,000 for their biggest show which featured tow middle aged men playing rassler.

I couldn't watch much of it. There was just far too much Hogan, Bischoff, and Bischoff Jr.

Best thing about TNA in England? Austin Aries.

Actually it boils down to when Dixie's daddy decides he's thrown enough of Panda Energy's money in the shitter.

Make no mistake about it, Hogan and Bischoff see Dixie Carter as nothing more than a money mark and they'll keep using her until the money is gone.

the fans are just fucking stupid!

these last 2 show are easily the in the conversation for best wrestling shows in over a year, regardless of which company their from!

yet these shows dont get good ratings, but the terrible impact episodes from 6 months ago did better and 99% of the terrible raw show do good!

i guess people prefer bad stories and bad wrestling!

Know that people know that Hulk is back for good I'm sure the ratings are going to increase to 2.0
