Various News: Christian Talks Unfinished Business, New Date For Roddy Piper Movie Screening, More

Fancypants, which features Roddy Piper will be screened at the Treasure Coast Film Festival in Fort Pierce, FL on Friday at 4PM. Distributors of the film have also announced that the film will be in theaters “soon,” first in the Chicago area and then expanding into other markets. The Houston Chronicle has an article up on Lucha Libre USA top heel R.J. Brewer, and described his anti-immigration tactics as “cheap heat.” Columnist Ken Hoffman spoke with Brewer about why he plays the character, who responded with the following…

“Everything you say and do in wrestling is magnified 1,000 times. My job is to rile the crowd up, get them to react. I don’t have a problem with that. They hate me the second I poke my head through the curtain.”

– Christian did a Q&A for the latest edition of WWE Magazine, and had the following about his future in WWE…

“My work here isn’t done by any stretch of the imagination. Even though I’m a veteran, I still have a lot to strive for and a lot to work for. I haven’t gotten a lot of things, or done some of the things that I feel I need to do yet.”
