WWE News: Christian Interview, Rock’s Next Movie, More

Theadvocate.com reports that Empire State, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will begin shooting on May 29th in New Orleans. Shooting will end in mid-June. Johnson has been working on Pain and Gain, and will be traveling to Europe this month as well for work on Fast Six.

– WWE has removed Mark Henry from this weekend’s Raw house show roster. He was originally scheduled to face off with John Cena on those events, and at this time, has not been added to this weekend’s Smackdown roster. [Credit: pwtorch.com ]

– Christian was recently interviewed by the Citizen-Times newspaper in Asheville, NC. When discussing the WWE schedule, he had the following to say…

“We just got back from a two-week tour of Europe where we wrestled every night. It is what it is. It’s not for everybody. No matter how tired you get, when you get in that ring and hear that crowd road, everything will go away.”
