More Wednesday WWE news…
- WWE.com has an article up, asking if John Cena has redeemed himself following his disappointing loss to The Rock at WrestleMania 28. The article notes his recent victories over Brock Lesnar and the Big Show. You can check out that article here.
- Randy Orton has been pulled from an upcoming advertised appearance. He was scheduled to wrestle Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio at a 3-way match at the July 24th SmackDown live event from Kansas City. This is because Orton's suspension is not over until July 30th. The match was changed to Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio. [Credit: rajah.com]
- The current plan for when RAW expands to three hours each week on July 23rd is for WWE to use the entire show, along with Twitter, to hype big matches/segments that would take place at the top of each hour. The current plan is to spend the first 50 minutes of RAW hyping the start of the 9-9:15PM quarter hour, then the next hour hyping the start of the 10-10:15PM quarter hour, and finally, the final hour hyping the show's final segment.
