[VIDEO] UPDATEDx3: Fire Breaks Out at Raw; Arena Evacuated

UPDATE 3: PWInsider has photos of the scene outside Raw that you can check out at the ink.

UPDATE 2 ProWrestling.net reports that fans are now being allowed to enter the arena for Raw and that the show should be able to start on time as normal.

UPDATE: Several fire departments were called to the U.S. Bank Arena to deal with the small fire on the Raw stage which caused the arena to be evacuated. One person described the accident, in which thankfully no one was injured, as an “awesome, loud, frightening moment.”

Fans are still waiting outside, as the doors won’t be opened until the company is cleared to go forward and the arena staff are back in place. A Reds game is about to take place next door to the venue, resulting in a chaotic situation outside. The show is still scheduled to go live at 8 PM, but there’s no guarantee that the arena will be cleared by then at this point.

ORIGINAL: A small fire broke out in the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati at Raw, just an hour before Raw was set to begin. The source appeared to be a pyro malfunction that occurred near the stage. The arena was reportedly filled with smoke and the fire alarm went off; people inside the arena were evacuated as a precaution. [Credit: PW Torch]
