- WWE Chairman VInce McMahon and Triple H have been "butting heads" over the direction of Triple H's character, especially after Summerslam. Triple H believes his character is more effective as a heel but McMahon wants him to remain a babyface.
Triple H's power has grown over the years and he is the Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events. However, McMahon still has the final say on all aspects of the product, including Triple H's character.
