- Ted DiBiase returned to action on house shows over the weekend, working as a heel against Kofi Kingston. DiBiase is being booked as a heel in order to see if he will be a better fit in that role. He got busted open in the match after getting kicked in the face by Kofi.
- As previously reported, Big Show returned to take John Cena's place in the main event of house shows over the weekend due to Cena's surgery. He will also replace Cena tonight in a dark match against Punk. Cena will appear on Raw to talk about his status, and WWE will make an announcement as to who Punk will face at Hell in a Cell.
