[VIDEO] Jerry Lawler Returns to Commentary and Offers WWE Return Update

Lawler works commentary at an independent wrestling show in Mississippi...
- Jerry "The King" Lawler made his first public appearance on Friday, September 28 at an independent wrestling show at the Mid-South Fair in South Haven Mississippi. Lawler suffered a heart attack during WWE RAW on September 10. Lawler had wrestled earlier in the show.
- Lawler at one point was set to wrestle two matches but instead greeted fans and worked as a ringside commentator.
- Lawler also did an interview with Action News 5 in Memphis, Tennessee. He stated WWE boss Vince McMahon told Lawler to take off as much time as he needs. Lawler though is planning November to return full-time to the ring and broadcast booth. Lawler said he wanted to return this month, but McMahon thought that would be "too soon."
- Lawler will next be making an appearance at the October 16 Smackdown tapings in Memphis, TN next.
