Trendrr reports that Friday's episode of WWE Smackdown earned a score of 74,561 in social media activity. This is down 24% from last week. It's the lowest score in ten weeks, going back to July 27 against the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Smackdown was up against socially-active MLB Wild Card games, which was on top of cable TV at #1 and #2. Smackdown was also defeated by Spongebob Squarepants on Nickelodeon.
- The producers of the new reality show The Hero, which is hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, have set casting auditions for October 20 in Dallas, Texas. The show was picked up by TNT for their 2013 schedule. The Rock will be the host/mentor/motivator interacting with "10 ordinary people" going on various missions to see if "they have what it takes to be heroes." You can find more details here.
